They do nothing for the customers, the service they provide is very poor and they speak to people in a condescending manner, I watched all this while standing in line... if you put an envelope deposit into the machine, they don't even bother to count it, so Banbury Nationwide bank is useless!

I phoned the Banbury branch Tuesday and after around five minutes the line went though to the head office as Banbury branch were busy. They tried to get though to them, without success. They took my details and was told someone would get back to me. Like a lot of businesses these days no one got back, so I had to ring them again. This time no one answered the my call and after waiting 20 minutes I gave up on anyone answering my call. A very poor service, Banbury.

BEWARE Total lack of customer service or professional service in this branch! I had an appointment at this branch on 25/7/24 the inside of the branch was unbearably hot so I chose to wait just outside the doorway as I was early, but wanted to make sure the staff were aware I was present for my appointment, so I queued to tell them behind the counter that I was present, after a wait of 10 mins or so and afraid I?d been forgotten I queued to see the other staff member behind the counter to ask if she could make the person who my appointment was with aware that I was present, and to ask how long the wait was, she said she couldn?t phone upstairs, didn?t know how long it would be, and was generally unhelpful and I was made to feel I was being unreasonable for asking! finally when the girl who my appointment was with arrived back into the branch, smirking after chatting to the girls behind the counter (obviously had been out for her lunch break) No apology for being 20 minutes late! she was actually on the verge of rudeness, so I walked out of the appointment?.
I am shocked at the total lack of basic courtesy or customer service across all 3 members of staff, clearly no branch manager present!
I?ve been a customer at this branch for 15 years +
I recognised none of the staff, admittedly I only visit occasionally, but after this experience I will not be returning to this branch again, I?d rather the inconvenience of driving to the Daventry or Towcester branch

Awful customer services. Careful. They do not take the data protection act seriously and happily showed me another person's bank account information to try and prove an invalid point the worst branch I've ever encountered

Is this store open or closing down? My mate has tried going into the bank where it says it?s open on Google! She tried so many times going to the bank but it?s been closed

Staff are so disrespectful and told me they won't serve me because I was deferent they refused to serve I spent 60 minutes did not see any african in there felt so bad.Very disgraceful.

Installed app on my phone. It advised calling up to get customer number. Waited 9 minutes then hung up. This organisation is as bad as Barclays when it comes to trying to call them up. So glad I've transferred my money into Leeds, which has better interest rates.

Is there any chance that you could change your opening hours to include the hour you are closed for lunch please as today I paid for parking when you were shut for lunch. If your website had stated that you were closed for an hour I wouldn't have wasted time and money parking up!!

Been my bank since 2006. Really impressed every time I need to go into branch. Staff are always polite and friendly. Keep up the great work Nationwide!

I had to make just one visit to open my first bank account. The whole process was unbelievably smooth. The staff at the bank were polite and helpful. I hope my experience remains the same in the coming days as well.

Banbury is the worst branch of Nationwide. The staff are rude, and lack the necessary knowledge one would expect of a financial institution. They have a low callibre staff who lack integrity. There are so many other finacial institutions to choose from. I would never invest any money with this lot.

Fantastic service and very helpful, not only where the staff helpful but the customers where too, I saw a young boy open the door for an older visually impaired man. Can't thank the bank enough. Its a nice touch that they named the meeting rooms after local villages too.
