Warning! This company ruined 2 beautiful suits. Now unwearable. 2 different suits made by 2 different manufacturers, bought at different times came back both ruined in the same way with bubbles and rucking across fronts and round every hem. (Wool suit from 'Autograph' and a 'Gutteridge' suit) See photos. We are very upset. We even had the suits sent away for Johnsons 'independent' assessment and guess what? It's apparently a COMPLETE COINCIDENCE that the interfacing on 2 different jackets AND a waistcoat happened to 'go' at the same time. (both these suits have been dry cleaned many times before and come back beautifully) We are new to the area, we will never use a Johnsons Dry Cleaners again. It was a considerable financial cost to us to replace these suits. Appalling.** Also see the review from Jill Herron further below** looks like the exact same thing happened to her, and again Johnsons have tried to blame the manufacturers.Can anyone recommend a good local dry cleaners?

I took a linen blazer and linen dress for dry cleaning. It was returned with stains still present. Sweat stains as well as dust stains were obvious on collar and armpit and the armpit still stank of sweat. The fabric also felt clammy. There was also pronounced water marks on some parts of the blazer. Looked to me like it had been sprayed with some chemicals and then steam ironed. I went back to Johnson?s to resolve it and disappointingly, the person I spoke to said it had indeed been dry cleaned and offered to re-do it. I opted out of this because if this was the expectation they had of their service, I would not be satisfied with it being re washed still. He claimed linen is hard to dry clean. I am not sure I agree with that. Hand/machine wash and iron, yes, linen is tricky for those but not dry cleaning. Unfortunately I had lost my faith in their service so I opted to go where I always had my clothes dry cleaned, Timpsons. Timpsons in Banbury then informed me that they send their clothes to Johnson?s for cleaning. I guess I am out of reliable dry cleaning services in Banbury then. I am very disappointed with the service. It?s a shame because the lady who does the amendments does a pretty good job hence the 3 stars.Service: Laundry wash & fold

Excellent place to get things dry cleaned, professional and friendly staff, Amazing service and will return. Had my suits dry cleaned here, were done in a day and cannot fault any part of the service they gave.Thank you Johnsons!
