They added items into my order without telling me and charged me for it without my consent. I wouldn't suggest going here.
One of the staff there helped me alot so I was really disappointed when I realised a different staff member had added charges onto my items.

Manager is very rude. I ordered two jackets on 19th of December from the store in Banbury castle quays
. which supposed to be delivered next day. It?s been four days I have been waiting for my delivery. Today I went to the store and ask the manager about my order. What the manager replied I was shocked. He said he can?t go my home to look for it.!!!!. I have to go and find it . I told the gentleman that hasn?t arrived to my home yet. Why would you go to my home to find it. Just check it where is my order. He denied. Answer me very rudely. I was completely shocked after receiving behaviour like that from a store manager. I would recommend people be careful when you order something from JD store in Banbury castle quay shopping centre.

Came this morning after work for a click and collect. Store supposed to open at 9am but didn't open until 9.20! A lady also waiting rang the store to see what was going on. One of the staff complained it's because a delivery came at 9. I then waited ages for my parcel, this store is badly managed and needs to learn basic retail operations and customer service.

I think ppl review things that are beyond the staff?s control, like online issues, or the stores policy that they cannot break.
I?m a regular at Banbury J.D & Ive only watched it go up in standard over the years.
My personal experience over the years has been great, ppl state the staff are helpful yet rate low due to services past their control.
Today was of brilliant service from an employee called Molly.
As said, I?m a regular customer and I?ve seen most employees, but I feel she was friendly & kind yet very professional at her job, she went above and beyond for me, online and in store. I?ve received my items on time and bought with confidence.
Many are great at Banbury J.D but Molly was just perfect for myself and my daughter, if you see her she will help you all wonderfully!
She got myself and my daughter to the items we were looking for, making it an easy & smooth transaction to order a Hoodrich coat online for delivery to my home. ( received )
We thought it was sold out but Molly showed me it wasn?t sold out online, so I ordered it and went on shopping in store.
I saw another Hoodrich coat for my son, she let me know how they are compared to others and was very informative about the items I was interested in, so I bought that also.
She made me feel confident in buying the items I bought definitely.
My son and daughter both love their item's, so I?m very happy with the help I received from Molly, & the gentleman that was on tills who was very polite and always has a smile.
The other staff were great also, always are.
It was/is clean and organised on the store floor, with friendly faces as I walk through the door, it?s just an all around pleasant shopping experience.
Thank you to Molly for her help, she is a credit to J.D!
I?ll be back very soon with the service I received, knowing if I need help it is there in the employee's such as Molly!

I visited JD in Banbury on Saturday the 23rd of August, I have never been so shocked at what I saw. I assume he was the assistant manager, he was absolutely so unprofessional and I?ve never witnessed anything like it. Shouting and screaming at the staff in the store infront of all the public inside the store shopping. Whether the staff had done something wrong or not (I don?t personally think they had) they should never be spoken to or dealt with that way. You could see how scared they all were of their manager, also the public inside the store was also scared. I don?t live in Banbury myself I was just visiting and I have never seen anything like it, I will definitely not be returning to this store and I hope the assistant manager is sacked for his unprofessional behaviour and the way he treated his staff

Staff clueless. Took so long to get served at the till I ended up walking out and leaving everything I wanted behind.
Everyone at the tills tapping there phones signing up to new app. I get that promotion needs to happen but do it before hand and /or don?t get customers to sign up when paying at the tills. Each customer was 5 minutes or more signing up! Stupid idea.
Was then followed by 2-3 more people getting served infront of us. Put me off JD for life now ?

So I went into JD sports today to purchase a pair of trainers. Had my size and I thought perfect all I need to do is try them both and see if I liked the feel of them both and buy them, But I was told that it is against company policy to try both Trainers on at the same time. I offered to leave my phone as insurance as I was not going to purchase a pair of trainers for £150 without trying both on and looking at them before parting with £150. I was told rather rudely that it was against Company policy to let a customer have both trainers on at the same time, I was literally just about to buy them, but then changed my mind as I am not spending that much money on a pair of trainers that I cannot try on. I queried this decision and asked for a manager, but apparently JD sports doesn?t have a manager on during the day. Deeply disappointed at the professionalism of the staff I myself will no longer be shopping at JD sports Banbury.
