“I get discount at another DIY store, I went there first and the staff were ridiculously unhelpful. Came to Homebase and the service I received was amazing! The gentleman was on the "paint counter" serving. I waited for him.. I asked for a product, I was taken there and talked through the options. He was knowledgeable and happy to help. I then saw him on the till.....was he running the shop on his own??!!!He wore glasses and had darkish hair, poss late 40/early 50. Bravo sir. Homebase got the sale because of you”

“I needed some helium latex balloons for my sisters birthday party, I was advised by Luke the manager that they last up to around 8 hours. I needed to get them as early as I could in time to set up for the party that day. Luke kindly advised he would get them ready for me 9am Saturday morning, so he came into work an hour before to ensure that the balloons would be done in time for me. When I arrived on Saturday to pick them up, they were bagged up and beautifully arranged. The customer service from start to finish was absolutely faultless and Luke really took an element of pressure away for me. The fact he was willing to go out of his way by coming into work an hour early was beyond kind and super helpful! Thank you Luke for your kind hearted nature, will be recommending the service to all family and friends!”
