Have an airbag recall on my car. Told the part was ordered 3 weeks ago, still waiting. Numerous calls and emails and no one ever answers.

Phoned this morning to book a service on my Berlingo van as the engine management light has come on regarding the ad-blue system. This is some that they replaced during the service last year so pretty disappointing that this has a fault already. As I use my van for work I needed this addressing urgently only to be told they could not accommodate me for nearly 4 weeks. When I explained the urgency with the fault I found the receptionist very unhelpful. I explained that because of the poor service I wouldn?t buy my future van form them; her response was ?well we don?t sell commercials anyway?. Maybe one day I?ll want a Citroen car???..say no more!

I brought in my DS3 for the airbag recall which I wasn't very confident in doing after hearing many reports from other owners on social media regarding the manufacture and not this garage I might add.
I shouldn't of listened to them as Evans Halshaw service team put me first and I couldn't fault their efforts and service. Very pleased with the documents received too to prove the work has been done and a comprehensive health check to show at a glance the area's that need various degrees of attention.

UPDATE: the more I faults I have the more I learn that the warranty I was sold is not worth a thing. In the small print it states they will only pay the hourly rate of £37.50 to any other garage. This was amended from £45. A VAT registered garage that charges this low an hourly rate is not a thing!! Please source a warranty elsewhere - this one was miss sold to me!! Up until the point of selling me the car, good. So I thought. Beware of faults not being corrected! After sale care absolutely shocking. No response to my emails until I chase it. A very don?t care approach to my issue and repeatedly ignored when I asked for the contact details of the branch manager. Made it very clear they have enough business and are short staffed!! The warranty appears to be a massive con as well.

Didn?t buy the car but Ryan was friendly- shame there was absolutely no negotiating on price despite finding multiple issues with the car- I appreciate this is head office talking with negotiating but it needs to be a two way street when things are noted that are wrong with the car.

Ryan was very helpful when we arrived to view a prearranged car. He was very personable and made the whole experience a joy.
Update 6 months on: I was mis-sold on a service plan for my car. I was told by Ryan, after travelling over 100 miles to pick up the car, that there were two local garages near me that I could use the plan in. Transpires one is closed and the other is sales only. Be wary! Car has been great tried booking it in for its MOT when the trouble started. For anyone else travelling to purchase their car, there is a national plan not just an Evans Halshaw plan you can purchase and take to any Citroen garage in the country for the same price!

My elderly Citroën C4 was in for an ?urgent recall? airbag replacement. The job was done in a couple of hours, the vehicle checked over and given a wash.
All very efficient in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
