We?re overall happy with the sofa, chairs, and coffee table we ordered fromthe Banbury DFS Store? the furniture itself looks great and everyone we?ve spoken to, both in-store and on the phone, has been friendly and polite. However, the experience has been far from smooth.
Our original order had 7 pillows added when I had only asked for 3. The sofa was delivered two weeks late without any updates ? I had to chase it myself, only to find out it had been sitting in the warehouse on time with no explanation for the delay.
The biggest issue has been with the chairs, which arrived with the wrong pattern. I visited the store and was told replacement panels could be ordered and sewn on within 4 weeks. It?s now been 5 weeks and, after calling the store again myself, I?ve found out the wrong panels were delivered again, and now the correct ones aren?t expected until October.
At no point has anyone contacted me with updates ? I?ve had to initiate every call to find out what?s going on. While the products seem good, the lack of communication and repeated order errors have made this a frustrating experience.

We?ve had multiple problems with DFS for our order and it just seems to get worse. Our sofa was finally delivered after 4 problems all from DFS side and the sofa was 2 different shades (to confirm our order was for a taupe Orka sofa but we were given 2 different shades of taupe, all made on the same order to be made and delivered at the same time, see photos for reference) we took 2 cushions of the sofa into the Swindon where we spoke to the gentleman store manager and another lady who worked at the store as requested by Paul who is based in Banbury. Swindon weren?t sure why we were asked to travel 1 hour 20 minutes to our nearest store for a problem that was DFS fault, not ours but they confirmed the colours of the 2 cushions were different even when moving them around, he emailed the Banbury store and said they?d be in contact with us for someone to visit our home to confirm again in person. Paul (from Banbury) then called me and arranged for Emma (from Banbury) to attend our property to look at the sofa, Emma may I add has the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced, she arrived over an hour after she told us she would and then proceeded to moan about how she had to drive over an hour to us and moaned about how she lives in Coventry and had to drive all the way home after this (making out we were an inconvenience when this is part of her job). Due to how late Emma was I wasn?t able to be at the property when she arrived as I mentioned multiple times before I am 38 weeks pregnant and had an appointment to attend. She agreed that they looked different and said it was due to the way the pile runs and she couldn?t sort it because of how big some of the cushions are. I then received a call from Emma 2 days later saying after her findings there is NO FAULT with this sofa we received and we would not be able to return without being charged and they wouldn?t be able to do anything at all to help nor exchange the sofa, I am currently awaiting a call back from someone higher up than Emma - please look at the photos of this sofa before you purchase from DFS as they are happy for customers to pay over £1000 for a sofa which looks like this..

Popped in last week, found a manual recliner sofa that was advertising 7 day express delivery label on it. Popped in yesterday to look again at same sofa with label on it, popped in today, spoke to a very lovely lady, we went through colour options, did I want electric instead of manual for £150 more, tried very hard to sell me electric one but I was content with manual. We was then notified after she went to speak to manager that the manual one was not on express delivery, only electric ones! The lady then went to see what she could do but manager wasn't available. We popped out to another shop, came back then dealt with another lady who wasn't much help and said we should have been told from the beginning! As I stated to her that the label that had now been thrown in other sofa had been on this sofa since last week and so was false advertising!!
If she had offered electric one for same price then I would have been happy, but to just knock £75.00 off was a joke
So I will look elsewhere now, even if I have to travel further!

Fantastic experience at DFS Banbury with Reisha. Very knowledgeable and attentive even during busy store times. Never felt rushed into making a decision and in fact returned to the store instead of ordering online so we could deal with Reisha directly. Looking forward to delivery, several sofas bought from DFS over the years and so far no issues. Highly recommended

I would not go with them there they damaged our property and as well cut the sofa and told members of the household Pauline language language that I would not repeat when entering in the store a gentleman called Paul I saw the true colours of him he was appalling told me to get out we had a sofa that was delivered. The zip was ripped. There was oil all over the cushion. The legs were broken, all the doors one place I would not even get a sofa from when I spoke to head office the same type of action we spoke to the company and refused them payment Due to we still waiting on the sofa to be replaced, the guarantees are not worth the money they didn?t even give our stock Scotchgard product. A driver tell me there you are and literally I had to go to the store to get it Still, we have received A product that I would?ve got better from the red Secondhand store looking on the full website I am Person that has received this type of behaviour I was told by a driver get the hell out of the room After them damaging and putting dirty marks all over Carpet
Stay clear of This store I wouldn?t recommend it. The manager lied to us told us when they sold us a showroom product that there was going to be As they are getting a new product in when I went into the store to find the same so A brand-new one because the one that they sold us was damaged
Appalling behaviour pulling customer service I have, I have video footage if anybody would like to see it I will put photos on of all the damage you?ll be shot
PS I?ve just had a call by Scott who is the so-called manager in charge of the store. His behaviour was shocking he turned round and said you?re not having the sofa replaced tough and will pick it up and give your money back clearly shows that the guarantee is worth nothing they damage your items they damage your products and then their attitude is just a simple give your money back reply back to them was they?ve got 24 hours or they were received no money his attitude was tough. We?ve got our money. so I can understand why the staff are so rude if you?ve got a manager that responds like this then clearly shows to me where the staff get their training from the sewer

First class service from Reisha in the Banbury store this week, much better service than I received in the other local DFS stores.Pleasure to deal with and stress free processing of the order.Highly recommend visiting this specific store if looking to buy a sofa.Thank you very much.

Over a year and we still don?t have the sofa we ordered and paid for. They keep sending us faulty or wrong sofas and mismatched footstool. Impossible to get continuous customer service. Passed from pillar to post. Can?t ever speak to a manager. £100 goodwill gesture. I JUST WANT MY SOFA.

Terrible service. Not delivered ontime. No effort made when I complained.Purchased 2 sofas, delivery date confirmed via text and email. On day of delivery no update provided (as expected) therefore went into the store to ask and they confirmed they would be delivered that day. However 3.30pm no update, therefore used online service to get update and they did not know anything. Went back to the shop where they told us the delivery was unscheduled (not what we were told that morning). Booked to reschedule which eventually arrived.Also were due a refund due to change of order and told would take up to 10 working days but took 15. Then made 2 complaints about these issues and in both replies I was only told 'sorry' and that someone would contact to discuss further, but no-one contacted me.
