Michael was brilliant - listened to what I was wanting and matched a bed and mattress to my requirements. He was t pushy and explained the different suitable options. I had a good experience and the bed price was very reasonable. Absolutely recommend and he was a real asset to the store!

Very good range of mattresses and beds for everyone.The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, we did buy and where pleased with our purchases along with the delivery date.Where do I start ? and change all that I put on here before, my god.Had a delivery date 3 weeks after our purchase spent well over £1,000 on a bed base and mattress and on the day for delivery was told the mattress had not been delivered to the delivery depot and the manufacturer was behind with orders, that's like ordering a car with no engine, "OK when can I expect it ", it'll be another 10 days.Wait in ,another day of work no phone call I ring the delivery office nothing customer services nothing, ring the shop, " I'll find out whats happening ",oh your order has been over looked because you had two previous times and date's.I promise it will be with you in Friday 6th October between 7-9am,now almost 7weeks after the order and guess what it's still not coming, fuming and 3 days booked off work could not start ? to tell you how I'm feeling, now booked for Thursday 12th October, watch this space I'm not finished, Bensons for beds don't bother.

They set up a delivery time which they were told i could not do because of work then tell me they cant change delivery times.

Delivery of bed was delayed at last minute due to damage to the base. It was delivered over a month later. The delivery team were excellent. They would get 5 stars.However, when we ordered the bed, a single ottoman divan, I was told that assembly of the gas struts was complicated and they suggested that I pay an additional £30 for assembly. The assembly took less than a minute and consisted of clicking the top & bottom into the already assembled hinges. I could have completed this ?complicated? assembly in the same time. I feel I was conned out of £30.

While my mattress is great, actually receiving it was delay after frustrating delay. There needs to be some more transparency on why multiple delivery attempts failed, rather than "some operational issues", and after waiting for 3 weeks the "next available delivery slot" needs to be less than two weeks.

Absolutely crooks. Don't waste money here. Look up the Facebook group Benson for beds, Benson for %£#@..you'll be able to read the lovely stories about the crookedness of this chain. I purchased a 3k bed from this store, 3 years into a 5 year guarantee they stated I need to hire an independent matress assessor to confirm my bed ( even though the dipping is obvious from photos) I have cured my back issues purely by sleeping in my other bed from Dreams. They are absolute crooks nowhere does it state in my paperwork I will need to pay for an assessor. Apparently their 5 year gurantee means you'll have to fork out your own money ( lovely in this climate) to prove the defect by hiring an independant mattress assesor. However, apparently I should know the consumer act as its all in there!? Crooks. Please don't waste your money here.

Questionable sales tactics. Wanted to buy a bed from them today (Jackson King Size) which was reduced to £219 as it was "end of line". Apparently they "don't make them anymore", said the sales person. I told them we weren't interested in sprung slats or divan and were told that they only have those types and one with a board. On checking myself, I saw that this was not that case with the Jackson; it has normal slats and exactly what we were looking for. We told the sales person we were going for a coffee to discuss and would be right back. Upon returning within the hour, the bed was now £599 (not on special anymore). The same sales person came and told us "sorry, but the bed has been sold just now". That would have been fine and I'd have kicked myself for a missed opportunity if we weren't lied to about it being END OF LINE. This was a blatant lie and an utterly deplorable and dishonest sales tactic. To add to that: the price online is almost half anyway. Support local? In this case I think not. Won't be purchasing from them online either.
