Several negative reviews on here aren't event related to this branch. I found the staff here to be helpful and sorted out issues with opening an account that I couldn't do online. I would have had to take my account elsewhere without local branches such as these.

VERY POOR I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR 20 YEARS SO ANYWAY I PAID IN OVER £4000 IN THE BANK ON SATURDAY ON THERE MACHINE AND THEY HAVE LOSS THE MONEY NO TICKET PAID IN TOO BEEN WAITING FOR DAYS CALLED UP AND STILL NOT ANYTHING ABOUT IT NO CALL FROM THEM TOO I DONT NO WHAT TO DO AND THEY ARE NOT HELPINGNEXT TIME YOUR IN THE BANK DONT USE THE MACHINE!!!!!!

I have had issues with the Barclays phone app for over a year with both the Staff and help line telling me they were unable to help.Today, 2 staff, not sure of their names, 2 ladies took just 15 minutes to sort the issue and even explain the problem and all the time they were smiling and chatting. Thankyou both for your help and expertise today.

30 years a customer.2 hour wait time on phone. 3 hour chat via app to be told I need to go into the bank. Asked to wait for personal banker to solve my issue which THEY CAUSED. Only to be sat for over an hour!First Direct are getting a new customer.Worst bank on Earth!!!DON?T BANK HERE

I went in to Barclays Banbury to do a CHAPs payment, and it was a delight to deal with Naomi at customer services. The lady was efficient, polite and completed the transfer in record time with all the paperwork competently done. Despite there being only 2 x customer service ladies on the banking floor it all ran very smoothly. Thank youSubsequent dealing with Barclays on the same issue was a complete nightmare, a labyrinth of being pushed from pillar to post and negativity rampant! The stuff of heart attacks! Although there are staff in the branch to help, there are few traditional tills and most transactions have to be carried out using self-service touch-screens. I cannot see this being very appealing to older customers or those who are nervous of technology. I imagine that they avoid this branch in favour of more traditional ones or else have changed banks!

I have banked at a Barclays Bank for many years but am now HORRIFIED that Barclays is seen to be a real ECOCIDE bank : worst, and least ethical in Europe (7th dirtiest worldwide) and has pumped $145bn into Fossil Fuels in 5 years since Paris COP in 2015 and has worked to derail Glasgow COP too! Don?t let them use your money - move it away! - switchit.money for an ethical one!
