Food was outstanding; scotch egg with homemade piccalli then pork chop with colcannon potato. I was able to walk in and get a table with no drama at no notice this evening. Welcoming service with a smile and polite chat. Will be coming back to work through the rest of the menu. Nom nom

Food was ok, but the staff were really grumpy. We were asked to pay the bill barely a minute after finishing our meal, and the way it was done felt rushed and unfriendly. As if we weren?t going to pay.. Make your staff wear something somewhat appropriate for the setting, they don?t even look of age.. Not a great vibe?won?t be hurrying back.

Managed to book a table here as it seems quite busy and what a delight.
The food was lovely, well presented and delicious.
Cute little bar, obviously popular with locals.
Would definitely return and have told family members that live in the area, worth a visit.
