We recently purchased a house through Damien, at Thomas Merrifieldin Abingdon, and I can honestly say he was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process. What started as a fairly straightforward purchase turned out to be quite complicated, but Damien remained professional, calm, and incredibly supportive every step of the way.
He went above and beyond to keep things moving, kept us informed at all times, and was always available to answer questions or chase things up when needed. His dedication and commitment made a huge difference, and we genuinely felt that he cared about helping us get the right outcome.

We have just exchanged contracts on our first house with the help of Kaine. As a first time buyers, who didn't know the area very well, we were very grateful for Kaine's help and advice. He made the process much easier for us and was always friendly and responsive to our queries. Thomas Merrifield were very helpful and professional throughout. We recently bought our first house, so can't compare to any previous house purchasing experience, but we can nonetheless give a very confident recommendation for the Abingdon branch of Thomas Merrifield estate agents. Kaine Peverley was always there to answer queries and responded to emails and phonecalls with minimal delay. Viewings were arranged to fit with our work schedule and were a relatively hands-off affair, which suited us well. Kaine handled the negotiation process from initial offer through to completion with tact and charm, and was proactive at seeking information to give us and the seller updates on progress. This is clearly a well-run branch with experienced staff, who have demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Kain was just fundamentally a really nice guy, too!

The whole team were very friendly and helpful on the occasions that I popped into the office. Andrew and Kaine were our main points of contact and both were always professional, polite and easy to work with. They kept us updated throughout the purchase and chased solicitors when things became very quiet!
Even once the sale went through Andrew went above and beyond for us to make sure we could settle into our new home by sorting out a miscommunication. This was despite us not being his paying customers as we had sold through another agent and showed us a genuine kindness for which we are ever so grateful.
