Only popped in for a couple of pints as thinking of moving to the area. Proper pub which I'm sure later on in the evening good atmosphere. Friendly barman and a couple of punters up for a chat

Not many in here so no atmosphere, I have been touring England 3 months now, and I just bought the most expensive beer since being here. Green King ice breaker pale ale £6.10, and that's in a green king pub. There are no real ales on tap. In Wetherspoon now Abbot ale £1.79 I won't be ripped off again.

I'm new to Abingdon and the black swan seems to have a 'reputation'. But I cannot fault it in any sense. The beers good, and the staff are friendly. It's an old fashioned boozer in my eyes, which is a dying breed in the pub industry. They have a pool table (which may need re-leveling but it serves as good fun) and a dart... read full comment
The Black Swan is a beautiful 19th Century public house based in the town centre of Abingdon. Dating back since 1854, and formerly known as 'The Mucky Duck', the establishment offers a wide range of wines, spirits and ales for it's varied consumer market.
