Absolutely awful job of trying to clean my Burberry coat , it looked exactly the same on collection - to the extent I didn?t think they even tried to clean it. On top of it I noticed a tear next to the main stain which I didn?t remember seeing before. I obviously wasn?t pleased so they agreed to try to clean it again (or clean it period) and they said they will give me a call back with the alteration quote as the seamstress wasn?t present.
Well no one called me for days, I had to chase it up myself only to be told to collect it, so I came and discovered the most atrocious alteration has been done! Honestly it left me speechless, I swear my granddad could?ve done a better job in the dark! Just shocking! Judge for yourselves (notice the small rip on the right of the black mark on the first picture and how much more visible it has become after the alteration, if it could be even called that!)

What genuinely lovely people. I had a coat that needed dry-cleaning and some repair work. They were so helpful and friendly that I felt I had to say thank you - somehow. Not only did they do a great job, but they called me to let me know how it was progressing. Above and beyond - I'll certainly be going back there. Thanks everyone.

I would not recommend Spruce Dry Cleaners.
I asked for my Cashmere Jumper to be repaired on the sleeve. On collection the workmanship was disgraceful, even the thread they had used did not match and furthermore, when I reiterated that it was an expensive cashmere jumper, my husband had to prove it by showing them the label ! To cut a long story short, they eventually agreed to try and correct the work, which they did and because of this, decided to give Spruce Dry Cleaners another chance, thinking that this was probably a one off. However, I asked for some bedding to be washed and pressed, but on collection, the work again was of very low standard. The bedding is more creased now than when it was taken out of the packaging. We will not be returning to Spruce Dry Cleaning.

Just had our living room curtains dry cleaned with Spruce Dry Cleaning. What a fantastic service from dropping them off to having them delivered once cleaned. Chris provides a great 5 star customer service, would recommend him . Will definitely use Spruce again in the future.

Did an amazing job cleaning and pressing the suit for my wedding. My trousers came dirty from new and in limited time they got them looking as they should have done! Friendly, great service and prices.

The lady who helps out in this shop was really helpful and provided a great service when I took in my daughter's favourite 'Reiss' cardigan for a professional clean. The lady was very attentive and took time to listen about a small staining issue only visible under certain lighting condition. After picking it up today, the stain can hardly be seen under the same lighting condition and I'm very happy that a £150 cardigan has been saved. Spruce used to be my favourite dry cleaners but they?ve recently changed owners and I had a really awful experience. It might just be teething problems, but I would recommend you take pictures of your stuff before you give it to them, and ask them up front about the risks involved with dry cleaning your item.They stained a shirt I was dry-cleaning to sell, they said they?d fix it and then fried it to the point where it is completely ruined and unwearable.When I pointed that out, the manager screamed at me until I cried, and said I was being selfish expecting them to dry-clean something at a fraction of the price of what I was going to sell it for, blaming me for the stains and denying any responsibility for the annihilation of the shirt.He later apologised, asked if they could make it up to me by offering me compensation, asked me to come in on a Saturday morning to collect my compensation. When I got there he wasn?t there and I had to leave my shirt with them again so they could show it to the manager.I never heard from the manager again, instead another member of staff emailed me offering to pay me a fraction of the price I agreed with the manager which at first I was annoyed about but eventually agreed to accept just to put the matter to rest. And after all that... they never paid me!It?s a shame, I really like the previous owner and she had encouraged me to bring in my designer items that didn't fit me anymore for dry cleaning so that I could sell them. So it was a real shock to discover my items weren?t safe and Spruce seemed to be annoyed by the fact that I was selling them.Service: Organic dry cleaning
