I was very impressed with my visit to Scrivens in Abingdon today. I came in for a routine hearing aid check. The practitioner offered me microsuction (ear wax removal) which I really needed. I did not have to make a second appointment as he did it straight away. Everything was clearly explained and totally unrushed. Thank you!

The optician is a Christian fundamentalist who very inappropriately bombarded me with questions about my father, all leading up to the punchline:"You do have another father, you know? The HOLY father."Truly awful and unethical, and they should be ashamed. I'm a strong willed person, thankfully, but she could potentially upset someone more vulnerable.
