Great tasting food and nice coffee. The cafe was crowded but service was excellent and the staff were friendly and polite. Very nice atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.

I sat at a table and was asked to move, by a young lady who seemed very angry for some reason. So they will never see another penny from me.
I always try and use local rather than chains.
They other independent 2 doors away are friendly so they will be my favourite from now on.

Significantly better than any of the chain coffee shops. For me on my own, Missing Bean wins, but with the kids R&R has it, just.

Paying over £10 for English breakfast only bread, egg, sausage and beans no veggie on the plate at all, felt pricey and the taste was mediocre. Personally, I would choose the next door.

The place is clean and full of light. Friendly staff. Slightly expensive, but in line with other coffee shops in Abingdon. Can get very noisy at times (the price of success, I suppose!).

Went to get a breakfast with my Mrs and £10.25 for a bang average microwaved breakfast is one this amd £3 for a can of drink but then for my girlfriend to find a big fat blonde hair in the middle of the beans is another. Only good thing give us the refund straight away

Been here a few times now, sometimes for a quick coffee and sometimes for a brunch / lunch. Every time, I have been welcomed by cheery friendly staff who are always willing to help. The place generally has a very positive vibe. There is ample seating inside and out. Outside you have to be aware that the seating isn't directly in front and a bit to the right facing outside.
We had one time where our food orders took 20+mins and they'd forgotten one of our orders which was a tad disappointing given the reviews but perhaps it was a bad day so willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
You have to order at the counter and they bring food the the table. Most times I've usually had a hot drink. Coffee is good, not life changing but does the trick. Food is so-so. I've ordered a few things from sandwiches to paninis and what's been disappointing is the lack of oopmh / seasonings / garnishes / salads. For example, going the other week I ordered a chicken and chorizo sandwich, which while nice, it was just that on the plate and nothing else. For the price, I would have expected a small side salad or crisps to eat with it.
Other than the above, as a small cafe serving good food and drinks can't really go wrong and will probably be visiting again.

Say outside, coffee spilt when it was brought to me. Was then told I couldn?t sit there because it wasn?t their table, couldn?t offer me an alternative as the other tables were full and I had a dog so couldn?t go inside. I asked for a takeaway cup so I can go somewhere else, more coffee spilt when it was transferred to this cup. Coffee was alright (what was left of it).

[the issue described below was rectified in our next visit]
We are regulars in this place. Today after a set of breakfast orders, we decided to order something sweet and went with Ice Cream and Fruits Crepe. I was served by a female at the till, although the receipt that I'm sharing here says Rob. Normally this item is listed at £8.20 on the menu (see the attached picture). My order included vanilla ice cream, strawberries and blueberries as the fruit and wanted to add chocolate sauce. I was asked to pay £12 and thought this doesn't feel right (ie far too expensive than what it should be). When I scrutinised with the person at the till, I was told that it doesn't work as it is stated on the menu and all the orders start with an empty crepe which is £5 and everything else is added as extras. When I pointed out that the menu item says Ice Cream & Fruits, it is logically that one needs to declare their choice of ice cream flavours and fruit selections, I received the same answer. When I asked, what would I be served if I order the item as it is stated on the menu ie what would be the ice cream flavour or the fruit selection, the person mumbled away and was not able to give me a convincing answer as to what would one receive. I wanted to continue until I was satisfied, but the queue started to build up behind me and out of respect to the other customers, I decided to give in and paid the full £12. What would one expect is that, the person at the till should acknowledge the confusing menu (actually not confusing but simply does not make sense), allow me to pay £8.20 as it stated (maybe just charge the additional chocolate sauce) and report to the manager that they need to revise the menu such that customers are clear as to what they are paying for and what would they receive. I'm very hopeful that the manager/owner will rectify our dissatisfaction. At least until then, we are not planning to return to this place, hence the 1* rating
