“I wouldn't usually review a post office, but I chose to go to this one because the one that is closer aren't helpful and so I thought I'd try another post office! Oh what a change - the chap at Milton Post Office was so friendly, helpful and patient, more than happy to help explain what options were available and the different costs too. Thank you - I will be sure to come to you again next time, service with a smile and friendliness is worth the extra few minutes in the car!”

“Standard little shop that you would expect to find in a village, with a Post Office counter located inside and with shelves stocking lots of essential and daily items, although some prices can be a little high compared to a larger supermarket. Friendly staff and ideal opening hours to suit village residents.”

“Top feature of the village! Good source of staples, post office is so convenient and the volunteer staff are always cheerful!Good source of hyper local knowledge and books. Post office can be very busy at peak times with people returning items from eBay Amazon etc.Shop has a good range of ingredients and ready to eat meals. Wine and beer is sold along with the usual milk and ice lollies!Always makes me smile as I walk past when there's a new display in the window too.”

“Just checking the times and saw all the bad reviews. Some people really get worked up over some petty stuff LOL. People only give bad reviews or good reviews none are ok, who feels they should get online and leave a review for that? it’s easier to be annoyed then happy and how can you give people five stars just for posting their Mail. I gave five stars as I don’t want to lose even more public services, and yes I see Royal Mail as one. Growing up with them delivering all the best news the worsts news and life changing news they feel a very important part of England. Keep moaning and not supporting Royal Mail and we end up with the hit and run delivery services. who are delivering so much in a day they just don’t care even if your parcel is nicked or if you even get it.”

“This is a village shop as village shops should be - friendly, helpful, tiny - but with a surprising range and selection. If you need it, they probably have it, somewhere! Clifton Hampden Stores is a family run business with a small Post Office counter, they stock cards and gifts as well as all the essential grocery items you'd expect, fantastic cakes and locally made jewellery. They also do Ecover refills if you take in your empties. I discovered recently that they offer a dry cleaning service at very competitive rates too. The owners, Emma & Glenn, are very friendly and welcoming, as are the other staff, and I'm sure many of us pop in as much for a chat and to see a friendly face as to actually buy anything.”

“I would like to compliment Sam who works in the depot customer service office. He helped me sort out a problem with our post that was being held at the depot. He went out of his way to ensure our post was kept as we had moved out of our old house and keepsafe system was not working. Big thank you Sam.”

“Post office has an out of hours counter at the coop tills, this is a restricted service which you can find on the post office website. They are also closed on bank holidays. The out of hours are open on Sunday 10-4pm Monday -Friday 8-9am & 5:30pm -10pm and Saturday 8-9am & 2pm-10pm. Mostly for sending mail and picking up parcels… please feel free to call the coop during out of hours to check if they offer the service you need.”
