Merkko is an independent builders merchant which started trading in 2007 from a site in Kingston Bagpuize, near Oxford. Whilst it's roots are firmly planted in civil engineering and groundwork materials, it is now a significant player in more general building products, timber and sheet materials. It's success led to opening another branch in Aldermaston, Berkshire, in 2013, and the addition of an LED Lighting business at it's Aldermaston branch in 2015. Merkko's main customers are small to medium sized builders, developers, groundworkers and self-builders. Our employees have hundreds of years of merchanting experience, and this enables us to compete with the very largest on price, and surpass them on knowledge and service.
