A nice coffee from Costa as always and service was quick and satisfying

I had enjoyed spending some of my mornings at this Costa Coffee for about eight months. I spent about four mornings a week, and had breakfast and coffee. I usually spent about 15 pounds average per visit. I knew the parking was for a two hour limit. One day I asked if I could stay for longer than two hours and I would be happy to order more coffee. They said I could just register my vehicle registration for free and get an additional two hours. I did. The employee also said if I do get a parking ticket "take it to us and we'll sort it out." Unfortunately on two occasions I forgot to register and overstayed for around twenty minutes each time. I took the tickets in and they said they could do nothing and I would have to pay them, and that I should have registered. The tickets were for 100 pounds each, but I paid early and only had to pay 60 pounds each. Popped into costa today for a coffee and a catch up with my friends. Went to sit down and was rudely spoken to by a very unprofessional member of staff and was told the seating area was closed, when politely asking why, we were just told ?didn?t you see the chairs, it?s takeout only? (it was NOT clear the seating area was closed) as we left the three young girls were giggling about the situation. Some retraining in customer service is desperately needed.

Unfortunately, this was the worst branch of Costa we've had the misfortune to use, I usually take some negative reviews with a pinch of salt, but I wish I'd taken notice here.When we entered, there were a lot of tables with dirty pots, I assumed this was possible lack of staff issue, when in the queue I noticed 5 staff members, one dealing with the drive through, 1 on counter duties, 2 other females seemingly fawning over a male member of staff whilst doing nothing, I also made the mistake of ordering a flat white which was the most bitter awful tasting one, with a pile of froth on top.Whilst we sat this lack of work ethnic continued unabated.Also if you are unfortunate to end up here make sure you put your registration in the parking touchscreen

This morning I ordered something from this Costa Coffee via Uber with detail information about how to reach my doorstep, telling that I need the order at my doorstep. The driver came downstairs and he texted me to come downstairs and pick the order. I texted him at once that, I am physically unable to go downstairs and I requested him to go upstairs. Uber app was showing that he read my messages but he intentionally was silent for seven minutes and then he texted me back to come downstairs. I told him again that I?m physically unable to go downstairs and please come upstairs and then he said "okay". All of a sudden he tapped "delivered" and I never received the order. I have been reporting this to Uber app and Uber customer service multiple times this morning and in reply to both of my previous customer service reports, the Uber said that the driver waited for seven minutes so I cannot get the refund. But Uber Eat did not take into account that when I tried to contact Driver he never received my call and he didn?t reply to my voicemail . He read my text and still was waiting for seven minutes, intentionally, downstairs without any empathy for a physically unable person to go downstairs to take their food, I tried lots of time to contact Uber Eats about this and they were giving me the same automatic reply that the driver waited for seven minutes. I don?t know whether the delivery partner was from Costa Coffee itself, but the struggle and inconvenience I had this morning was never compensated.

Has anyone else received a parking charge from Civil Enforcement Ltd on behalf of Costa? Costa don't want to know, despite assisting them in the management of the car park. Other Costa customers have had the same. Costa can help by requesting that the charge be cancelled, if you've spent all the time in their store, because they've told me but they choose not to help. I was in there after dark for 2.5hrs until they closed, unaware of the charges as the signage is inadequate and not lit up at night.

The toilets were out of order so we couldn?t sit in or use loos. Ants and flies were crawling all over the cakes and pastries which was rather concerning for the hygiene, so we only bought drinks. It wasn?t necessarily dirty, but there definitely needs to be some improvements in sanitation (and insect control!).

All the staff are lovely and very helpfull especially Gabby , she bought our drinks outside for us . All the staff are always happy and all are helpful. They work with a smile .I always go for a coffee at milton Gate on a Saturday morning. The drinks are always very good to drink and the staff are helpful and friendly, Gabby will always help , I can't carry my own tray so Gabby will bring my coffee to me outside , she is always smiling and will talk to us .She is also always very busy and will go out of her way to help .
