Fabulous staff help make this place better than your average Costa.

My family attended my brother's event today, which is close by to this Costa Coffee ( we are not local ). Quite a big group (12+) of us decided to get some tea and snacks . The store was already quite busy , mostly take away . Our order was excess of £90 . The staff member on the till Nashly (something similar , was also told she was the manager when I enquired ) straight away looked annoyed at us for ordering so much with her body language and face expressions. As there was a lot of us , I went to take some plastic cups so we can share the teas and coffee . She very aggressively said I was taking to much . I was taking what we needed nothing more. I thought I was doing them a favour by just getting the paper cups my self , and not make them bring over whole sets of tea cups . The rest of the staff also started reacting like I had done something very wrong . I reminded her that I paid for the food and service and was just trying to help because they are very busy. I can't help but think we were treated differently due to our race. The only bad experience I have ever had in any Costa .

Very friendly and efficient staff. It was very clean.
There is plenty of room available inside and outside to enjoy your drinks.
Parking: Parking is located a 5 minute walk a way

Bought iced cappuccino yesterday, and the staff was so racist that i requested them to put some sugar since the drink wasn't sweet enough they just added more milk to it and also the cleaniness was so pour that the worker clean the forth straw with such dirty cloth still feeling bad that the staff is not keeping the utensils clean

The coffee was made well and quickly however one particular member of staff (name unknown) was quite abrupt, sharp and short tempered. He even got frustrated with the elderly woman in the queue after us when she didn?t know how to scan her rewards card. This is not the service I would expect from a customer facing employee. The girl on shift was nice though.

There are so many coffee shops in the square in Abingdon. I counted six almost next door to each other. Seems far better to go to one of the independently run shops rather than a chain like Costa but if you prefer Costa of have a loyalty bonus then worth going. There?s also another Costa just 50 yards down the road towards the river.
