When you compare estate agents, it?s easy to just look at fees or photography options, but what you really need to look at is how you will be supported through the sale. Selling your home can be stressful, and a professional and supportive estate agent will make the difference when things get rough. Vey positive experience with Wayne and his team in the Abingdon office of Breckon & Breckon.
They helped us with the successful sale of an unusual house in the middle of the difficult and volatile market conditions since the middle of 2023.
Wayne provided very good advice on some cost-effective improvements to the house, came with a correct valuation and advised us when to go to market. Result was an offer within 10 days which we were able to accept.
Wayne assisted us and the buyer through the phase from sale agreed to exchange of contracts and beyond - helping with very practical things like reading meters as we were out of the country.

The family inherited a rather run down property in the area and through Get Agent we were introduced to Breckon & Breckon in Abingdon. As we live abroad and my wife`s brother living in the North of England it was imperative that we found a reliable agent to market and sell the property. In Wayne Keenan we found just that. friendly, helpful, prepared to go the extra mile and he gave us great confidence due to the distances involved. The firm knew our solicitor and introduced us to local insurance brokers which eased the process and after a few viewings they found us our buyer. Great service highly recommended.

I honestly cannot recommend Breckon & Breckon enough. The team in Abingdon have been incredible throughout my whole selling process. My house was put on the market in difficult circumstances due to my divorce, but the team have been incredibly sympathetic, remained professional throughout the process despite the many ups and downs we faced. I am weeks away from completing on my sale, and I know I couldn?t have done it without them. This was the first house I have ever sold and they have held my hand all the way, which is exactly what I needed at this time. Wayne has been consistent throughout the process with many years under his belt, his experience and expertise shone through. This guy certainly knows his stuff and is so suited to his job.
Elise has recently joined the team and is seeing me through the last bit of the process, which has actually been the most tricky and time consuming. She is incredibly professional, always there to help whatever I need. I know I can rely on her no matter how big or small the issue is.
Ollie has been a friendly, familiar voice at the other end of the phone, answering my hundreds of calls. I love the fact that this is a small team, everyone is aware of my situation and I didn?t have to explain over and over again.
