Not sure if i should do our review or our dog?s review ! Our husky was delighted to have his own menu to choose from and cleared his bowl.Our steaks were cooked perfectly. Very generous portions. Highly recommend

Called in Friday afternoon for a quick bite and a pint. Had the crispy chicken ciabatta and fries.
Excellent quality and unreal value for money for a tenner, washed down with an ice cold pint of estrella Galicia! Happy days !!

We have been visiting the White Lion for a number of years but never again. After visiting for a meal we ended up with 3 parking fines. On ringing pub was told it was our problem and we should have seen signs on bar and table. We didn't go to bar as we're shown straight to a table and when I said there were no stickers on table, I was told that people keep removing them. Tried appealing but this was refused despite us having a copy of the table reservation and a bank statement showing we spent over £330 on the meal. Anywhere with good customer service would be telling people on booking or on arrival at the pub and not blaming the customer for not seeing the signs.

inform clients about parking charges, it was never mentioned on a rainy night after hill wàlking, I decided to treat my partner to dinner.. £90 plus cash tip of £6.00 two pies two sticky toffee pudding two coffees drinks and a horrible taste 10 dayßlater through the post ! real Christmas spirit £100 parking penalty charge from civil enforcement for parking in the pub car park from 17:14 - 19:37

Second visit. Love the Greek skewers, big plate of food and delicious. Staff are lovely and the service is great.
Parking: The car park is small and a bit tight to manoeuvre in if you have a big car.

We ate on August bank holiday, it was quite busy as a disco was on outside and we weren't sure if we were going to stay as it was rather noisy for us...but glad we did as the food was lovely. The staff were great and the food brought out in good time even though they were very busy. We had 4 meals and enjoyed every mouthful. Will definitely go again....perhaps not on Bank holiday

Definitely recommend the Parmesan Chicken and the Steak and Ale pie, expect to ask for a doggy bag! Dog friendly too. Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced.
