We love this place. We stayed a week near Sherwood Forest and we came here every single time we wanted a night out.
The food is very good, the place is cozy and they take very good care of the decoration and it is really really pretty. But the best part is the staff, they are extremely nice, extremely helpful and they always have a smile.
If you come near workshop, don?t miss this place.
And the Sunday menu is amazing. They have this honey roasted ham that is heavenly.

We are currently staying at clumber park lodges and decided to go off site for something to eat. We were recommended here so popped down for some lunch. It?s a cute place really clean and welcoming. We ordered starters and mains and it didn?t disappoint at all the halloumi bites are amazing?.in fact all the food was really nice the service was top notch and we are glad we decided to try the millhouse we highly recommend and if ever nearby on our travels again we definitely will be back

We visited today and the food was absolutely lovely ? full of flavour and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and most of the staff were really friendly and attentive.
The only negative was an encounter with a brunette lady who appeared to be part of management (as she wasn?t in uniform like the rest of the team). When I asked if I could charge my phone ? which I needed for my maps for the next two hours ? she refused in quite a blunt manner, which came across as unwelcoming.
Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and I?d happily recommend the restaurant for its food and overall experience.

What a lovely pub. Polite staff, great service, clean and well managed throughout.
Food was high quality, very tasty, and great portion size.

Loved the food and service
Locals let it down for atmosphere because they were so loud I'd say locals because bar staff knew what to pour without asking. Vaping too and not very sneakily. Food was superb so would come back

Quite a nice place to eat; very good parking, with easy access, comfortable and pleasant surroundings, and nice staff.
The food was good - generous portions and nicely presented and tasty.
The service was a little slow, but we had arrived at the same time as a very large group of people, who were
In another part of the establishment, and who were demanding a lot of attention, and I this was distracting our staff somewhat.
It was overall a nice experience, and we would certainly go back.

Popped in for lunch for a daddy daughter date, received a warm welcome and a lovely atmosphere, the food was excellent, sausage and mash went down a treat, my daughter had the pasta and said it was nicer than the local Italian, quite a compliment, not the cheapest place for lunch but was worth it

Visiting local pub after school sports day; TERRIBLE SERVICE - probably worst have had ever; placed order for food at 4.38pm, food came to table at 5.25pm. There were 3 of us (1 child) and only another 2 tables in the whole place.
The strawberry haired manager and a short blonde girl with glasses were more interested in their conversation behind the bar then service, the food came and not going to lie was decent although could tell had been sat under the hot plate for a good while as the lettuce on my mac and cheese was cooked...
A brioche roll came with the mixed chilli and was inedible - raised with the short blonde girl who said that this was normal - requested another slice and was handed a cold slab of crust. When you're paying £80 for just 3 main meals and drinks I'd have expected much better service.
I recommend skip the place as has really gone down hill...

I can happily say that this was veritably a place that I would love to be closer to home. I would happily go out of my way on a journey just to eat here.
We were attended to by Lu (Lucy) who helped us with our table and baby placement. They were busy with a large party at the time and were courteously notified by her that times would be a bit longer. I am to say that if the times were longer then I would have been blown away by their normal times.
The food came and our eyes popped! The food! Oh the food! It was delicious, scrumptious, delectable, out-diddly-standing! Both the starters and the mains were amazing and generously portioned!
I would definitely recommend this establishment for food and drink and parties or just chilling!
