I've been a registered patient with this surgery for approximately 10 years. I am an NHS patient who pays for my treatment. I have complied with the dental '2yr rule' and have maintained yearly check ups without any issues. Towards the end of last year I called to book my check up, only to be told that the NHS Dentist had left and that I was unable to book an appointment unless I was willing to 'go private'. Whilst I am able to pay for my dental treatment I'm not fortunate enough to afford private dental treatment. The NHS states that every NHS patient has the right to NHS dental treatment, I recognise that there are issues with securing a position on an NHS waiting list, but I am already registered. I think it's absolutely appalling that patients are being turned away for routine check ups, and being advised to seek private treatment instead. I appreciate that the Covid-19 epidemic and subsequent 'financial squeezes' have impacted dental services in the UK, but this is undoubtedly having a negative impact on primary and secondary health care service, resulting in patients being forced to seek emergency dental treatment at their GP practice or hospital. My husband was told today that you have still not been able to recruit a replacement for the NHS Dentist who left last year, and that even if he was experiencing pain he would need to 'go private '. This is wholly unacceptable and I will be writing to our local MP to raise my concerns.

My dentist at Langold Practise, Noor, is the best I?ve ever had the pleasure of being treated by. She is warm, welcoming and always puts me at ease. Nothing is too much trouble and she always takes the time to explain things clearly. Would recommend to anyone!

I moved several years ago to continue with NHS dental treatment. I cannot fault the practice and especially "Teddy" and her support team. I sincerely hope NHS dentistry will continue to be available and properly funded to keep such positive and professional people available to us all.

Teddy is very friendly and a great dentist.The constant messages and phone call to remind you of an upcoming appointment is a bit of a pain. And when I had to cancel an appointment as it clashed with one of my cancer related hospital visits. I got a very condescending, patronising letter from the practice manager.

Well organised, safety dividers at counter, hand sanitser. They take your temperature before you go in to see dentist. Dont allow more than three in at a time. Wasn't kept waiting long for my appointment.

Never answer the phone can never get a appointment and when you do they always cancel at last minute. They don?t care about your teeth only about the money from your wallet avoid.

Very good dentist, rang for an emergency appointment due to bad toothache and was booked in that day at a time that was convenient to me. the staff were very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend langold dentist in the future

Not happy so far paid for an emergency appointment which they said will take 3 days then they rang day before my appointment and said i have ti wait another 5 days after taking my money been suffering for weeks not happy
