Just have to mention what a credit a man called Shaun is that works at Celtic Barnardo?s in Worksop. I go in quite regularly and see and hear what a lovely friendly and polite man he is with the general public. He is an absolute treasure. Sometimes in a busy world we forget to give credit where credits due , well Shaun you deserve a mention.

Very recently I visited this shop with my mother who asked me to take her as it is her 'favourite shop'. I am not very familiar with the shop as we are not local. However, mum often visited it when out and about with my dad who sadly passed away 7 years ago.
From entering the shop I was impressed with the organised and bright feel to it. We spent over an hour in the shop as it has a lot to offer. Mum loves her crockery and household items and found plenty. I purchased some lovely preloved fashion items it.
I was even more impressed with 'Shaun' one of the assistants. Shaun was so friendly and helpful. He was also very calm and patient during a busy time, taking time to wrap some fragile items we bought with care so they didn't break during our journey home. I noticed that everyone served by Shaun received the same friendly, warm welcome.
Shaun added to our shopping experience, making the day a very pleasant one. I'm sure that we will be back again soon!

New management is very rude. Its not same shop. Somebody try to make a boutique but clothes are dirty and destroyed. 8£ for used t-shirt is toooooo much. I can buy new things for this price. Hope so Melisa will be changed soon ?

3 Barnardos in the area.... this one is expensive.... so expensive £14 for a very worn coat... £8 for old primark jumpsuit... why is this one so over priced never used to be. I'll stick to vinted. Won't be coming here again.Response to the reply.i I understand that money needs to be raised but charging more that sale prices for branded that are new. I will happily got the the 2 other stores in town and spend £30 on more than 2 items and still donate same amount.

Love this shop! It's bigger than all the other local charity shops & the staff work very hard creating attractive displays. I would say items are realistically priced- higher end goods are higher priced which of course generates a bit more income for the charity but there's always a bargain to be had, especially in books

I visit this shop on occasion and sometimes the items are reasonably priced, but on others they are not. They have Christmas items out and they seem quite over priced, I purchased a top for my son but was shocked that a kids top for a 1 year old was £3, it was probably not much more than that new, and there were kids Christmas jumpers at £5! When I've been in before I got a kids coat for £1.50, so not sure why they've gone crazy over the Christmas stuff!

Would give 0 stars if possible, obscenely overpriced on everything, you would think that in the current economic climate charity shops like this would be a haven for people on a budget but you may aswell buy new, it would be cheaper!! Rude staff who look down on you when you ask for a price. Avoid at all costs!
