This store is shocking I really do not know why they are still open.
product is garbage prices on the shelves do not represent what you are charged at the till and the management is shocking. If he did his job he would not be on the phone and when asked about the store pricing you may have spoke to a brick as he could not give a shit.

this old woman every single day has stared directly at me and multiple of my friends, she follows us around the store 24/7 and has before accused me of shoplifting when i have never and will never commit such a crime.

The service in the shop is absolutely shocking whoever the manager is should be absolutely ashamed of the mess.
I?m a regular user unfortunately of this store with it being the closest to me.
The staff are incredibly rude especially one older woman.
I have never seen any of the staff smile, never any check outs on and huge lines of people waiting and staff walking around doing nothing.
The shop has never impressed me in the months iv been using it.
Having young staff who try to preach to me about law on serving when I?m a lot older and a hell lot more qualified than them is incredible.
I was stood waiting for 10 minutes while the staff were slagging management off and moaning about the job.
If there is one way not to manage a store this is one of them. I will try never to use this store again but unfortunately with it being so close I don?t always have the choice.
Shocking, seeing the reviews on Google does not surprise me and seeing the replies to the comments suggesting improvements obviously has fell on death ears unless the manager isn?t bothered which is clear they probably care as much as the staff

I'm Unfortunate enough to have this as my local store.I'm not sure where to start with this absolute horror show of a retail outlet.Every day I go in this store & come out wound up, 4 tills & never once have I ever saw any open !!! Have to have a full on argument to even get a carrier bag. Why hide carrier bags behind the cigarette counter , it's a shop ! People need carrier bags. Queue is always huge for the kiosk as never any staff on the tills. Half the staff are rude and go out thier way to make your experience as awful as possible.The management should hang thier heads in shame at the complete lack of competence in running such a busy local store so badly ! I feel sorry for the few decent people that work here their lives must be a misery working for this place.An absolute embarrassment.Management should be removed from thier positions with immediate effect.

I?m not going to name and shame anyone, mainly because I don?t know what?s going on in their private life.But one of your staff members really shouldn't be anywhere near a customer-facing role. I should imagine that many of your customers and staff know the person that I?m talking about.When working on a till being nice and polite is surely the bare minimum. This person seems to think being grumpy and rude is the way to go.I?d mark their people skills a 3 out of 10, and I?m basing this score on numerous interactions with them.The only reason I can see why they are allowed to man the till is a sneaky way of forcing us customers to use the self-checkouts, and believe me, it?s worked on me.

There's a couple of ladies work here that are so rude. One middle aged blonde haired couldnt be less interested and acts like your not even there and the other is ready for retiring and doesn't she let everyone know it. I've never ever in my life been spoken to the way I have in here. Its clear to see there short staffed this is the only asda they don't have anyone helping on the self service. You have to ask for a till to be opened and god help you if you ask for a bag to pack your own things at the self check out I had my head bitten off for going and helping myself to one after been ignored when I asked if I could have one from behind the till. Even more embarrassing when she shouted top of her voice "NO DONT USE THEM PUT IT BACK AND WAIT" it was busy and everyone looked at me gobsmacked. One gent even asked me if I was alright. This was the older lady that hates been there and hates everything and everyone. I go to other asda now even though its out of my way. There's one bloke works here and he's always singing away stacking shelfs up. Always speaks and is really friendly. Give the guy a pay rise ?

Worked there from July 2022 to about April 2023 Just a miserable experience leading to me going off sick wanting to end it all the colleagues aren?t the problem but saying that there was never enough colleagues to work with anyway to many chiefs and not enough Indians I say. managements protocol to bully staff into feeling depressed and suicidal is top notch tho but then again at-least when I was off with a valid sick note I didn?t go on holiday and post photos of me on a beach into the works group chat whilst we are all slaving away and trying to keep the shop to standards, glad I got out of there and to the people who still work there i do miss you guys, miss having a lean on a Tuesday night with young Jack only good thought I have left of that place.

The main problem woth shopping here is the staff. Very unhelpful and they don't look very happy to be working. Staff also have private conversations down the asles and sometimes you feel your been talked about. Self checkout is something that is okay however the staff treat u like a child when they have to sort a problem out. Also it's either the staff are on top of you or there is noone and you stand for ages after only going in for a couple items.
