Good store, most staff are friendly although the odd one or two are miserable, very cheap prices and the specialbuy section is brilliant. Self service checkouts also very much speed up the shop and reduce the need to use the packing shelf, which we are glad of.
Only thing I would say is sometimes the stock isn?t rotated in a morning and out of date produce isn?t removed from shelves in time for opening.

1 star because of their manager,staff have targets when scan items, that's why they all scan it like their job at risk. Asked one of the staff and was told they have targets on scaning.
I'm fuming because of toxic management make life of staff horrible,even if just me on queue,the staff scan items like their life depends on it..Fuming ?

Of all the supermarkets I love Aldi the most. The fresh food and great prices are my biggest incentive to shop there. I just I had one a bit nearer!

As Aldi has a good reputation for prices and food it is a pleasure. To go in then come out still with money in your pocket.

Just received the greatest kindness from one of the staff members .After being embarrassed yesterday having to put all groceries back due to NHS healthy start card not functioning even with the correct funds there , I tried the card again today after speaking to the healthy start customer services giving me the confidence it should work again. But however it still wasn?t working and I told the man on duty of self checkout that I?d have to put the shopping back yet again which also worried me that I wouldn?t have the food my daughter has for her lunches .But instead he told me to wait a minute and then he came back to me and paid for my shopping ! Honestly so grateful for the unexpected kindness and unfortunately didn?t catch his name but hopefully the shift manager would be able to indicate who was on self checkout this evening 05/02/2024 @5pm and give the man the recognition he deserves for his selfless act of kindness. Thank you again you saved me the embarrassment and also made me able to feed my daughter tomorrow and the next couple days .

I prefer the Lidl in Gainsborough. Nothing wrong with the Aldi, but it seems more cramped and darker. The food selection misses a few things I like to buy.
