Booked a table at The Apple Tree, Compton Acres for Christmas dinner. We were a group of 10 adults and a 4 year old. Arrived 15 minutes before our booking time but they were able to seat us immediately if we wanted, we did. The food was lovely, served hot with little waiting time. My only issue was I did not get any stuffing or pigs in blankets but I'm sure if I had pointed it out, they would have got them for me. We had 3 courses and there was ample food on the plate even without these 2 items. Very friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble and the price for a 3 course Christmas meal was reasonable. Would definitely return not only for Christmas dinner but also if we decide to go out to eat.

Me and my wife came in for a lovely meal and drinks
Was made to feel very welcome by a young man, I believe his name was Pete.
Seemed very knowledgeable about the vegetarian options on the menu as my wife doesn't eat meat.
Beer seems well looked after.

We used to visit here once or twice a week many years ago, then children came along. Now they?re older we decided to visit again. It?s still a really nice pub, gorgeous open fire and festive Christmas decorations.
Only downside was being sat by a side door, which let in cold air each time someone walked through. With two other doors it should ideally be locked to keep the heat in.
Everything else was spot on though. Great place to go for a meal.

Good old traditional and friendly pub. The pub quiz was on, which was nice to see, so many different generations were taking part. Atmosphere was lovely. Customer Service is polite, friendly, and welcoming.
Wheelchair accessibility: An accessible ramp for the public.
