I am well aware that the NHS has taken a knock of late and in some circumstances this can't be avoided but Dr fatima gillani is a terrible doctor and that has nothing to do with NHS issues. She told my partner that his serious injury has magically fixed itself without the surgery that is needed and dismissed metal health issues stating that she has other patients to see. She is rude and I would advise anyone that has an appointment with her to cancel and arrange one with someone else even if that means waiting. This isn't the only time that she has done something of this nature.Something else I should probably put on here. I have illnesses that bring me an untold amount of pain. I mean so much that sometimes I can't even move. Well I have been chasing all my referrals for months and months and months. Finally a few weeks ago after me contacting them AGAIN somebody has sorted it but the funny thing is she told me that up until that point nothing had been done so when I had sent messages or called to be told "yes it's done but we are still waiting for your referral to come through " is rubbish, they lied to me and I have been crippled with pain and left for years.

This review is in regards to one GP, that I literally just saw. Dr. Fatima Gillani. What an absolutely horrible experience. I?m suffering with a shoulder injury and severe tennis elbow, more important than that my mental health. (I have a history of mental health battles)Keep in mind I?ve also had private health care through work, with an actual arm specialist and he concluded my tennis elbow was a severe case and would more than likely require surgery with physio to follow. This Dr I just saw had me do a few range of movement tests and the presses in my elbow, proceeding to say and I quote ?yeah that?s healed?. I?m in pin daily and if I exert myself the pain goes through the roof! She says, no inflammation so it?s healed. I told her an actual arm specialist would beg to differ. She then told me ?Paul we need to hurry up I have other patients to see!? In a nasty tone. Now that immediately flared my sensitivity (mental health) and I wanted her to explain how on earth with 3 movement tests she could possibly claim I?m healed!?Regarding my mental health, she ask ME what I wanted to do! No suggestions, zero empathy.I couldn?t get out of her office fast enough, went to the front desk to book my two week med review and told the front office staff member (which she was incredibly lovely about it all) that I never, ever want to see that GO again. By this time I?m in tears in public, in front of everyone. Yes, that?s so good for my mental well being isn?t it!I?m disgusted at this treatment and she should be seriously looked at as a capable doctor. There is more to this than I can type and would seriously appreciate a someone in management to reach out to me to discuss. Or are you going to sweep this under the carpet? I sincerely feel so sorry for anyone that would have to deal with Dr. Fatima Gillani. She should never deal with anyone that has mental health issues.

IM currently frustrated with the booking an appointment system? We are all not handy with the computer and lead complex live styles that prevent us from moving on.By the time I've tride to get that appointment the slots have all gone? This doesn't help the older person one bit.

The reception are so rude . Wanna be doctors, triageing from reception with 0 medical knowledge . Do not question the receptionists knowledge or else....if you are old they will probably see you off so avoid. The physiotherapist was the most unprofessional professional I've ever seen .

I was a patient here a few years ago and I used to attend the old surgery located in Skegby, which all of the GPs mentioned in this review used to previously work at. In 2020, I was experiencing various symptoms such as bleeding ulcers in my mouth, painful skin rashes, frequent infections for every small wound I had, extreme fatigue and a plethora of other symptoms. I repeatedly went for an appointment from around April 2020 up until October of that year with those same symptoms that kept getting worse. The doctor I saw would repeatedly tell me at every appointment that he was not sure what to do but did no further investigation. He eventually prescribed me steroid tablets for oral use to place on the ulcers I was getting every day - which ultimately did nothing to help and he continued to prescribe me them and brush me off despite me telling him that they did not work. At one of the later appointments of that year, the doctor told me that I ?might have a deficiency and should eat more carrots?. Did he check for any deficiencies that I had? Nope. After further pushing and visiting a different doctor at this surgery, I was then finally referred to a clinic in Kings Mill hospital which finally tested me for any deficiencies through a full bloods test. During the time waiting for these blood tests results, I was hospitalised in December 2020 due to the symptoms coming to a violent head and leaving me unable to walk, having intense muscle spasms all over my body and severe dizziness whenever I as much as moved my eyeballs. Once the blood test came back, it was revealed that I had severe anaemia that had been left untreated by this negligent GP practice for the better part of a year. I was finally treated for the anaemia by the hospital and recovered well under them, however this situation could have been prevented months prior if that certain doctor had ran blood tests on me as he even said I appeared to have a deficiency - and to eat more carrots! In addition to this, I was also left with a chest infection for several months a few years prior at the old surgery by a different doctor who still currently works at this practice that she brushed off as being asthma and told me to take my inhaler more. Once again, I was sent to a different doctor who revealed it was a chest infection that had been the cause of my coughing fits and neon yellow phlegm.Oh! And as well as all of that, my mother used to go to this surgery and was aggressively told that (by the same doctor who neglected the chest infection I had that was so obvious it was smacking you in the face) there was nothing wrong with her despite severe and frequent bouts of dizziness. My mother had to beg this lady to refer her to someone else and wow! What a surprise! She had vertigo!Run for the hills if you are thinking of coming to this GP practice, they are incredibly negligent.

Great doctors had no problems since moving from the old practice. Reception always helpful/polite and we get seen very promptly when ringing up and waiting in the waiting area. Every doctor or nurse I have seen has been excellent.

I?ve never had a problem getting an appointment, always managed one. Polite and friendly receptionists who are always willing to help. I can?t fault the practice at all. Doctors are all brill and helpful. Especially the lady tonight Dr Chilamkurthi she put my mind at ease and I walked out feeling 10x better than I did walking in. Thank you ?

The reception staff are always super friendly and efficient, very sweet and caring. The nurses are amazing, truly amazing, efficient, professional, and so friendly. The new system where you go online to explain symptoms and get advice works well, but I miss seeing a doctor. I loved and worked for years in South Africa, which has a failing health system, and the NHS is AMAZING, never ever underestimate how lucky we all are to have it. Trust me, we're SO lucky. But, oddly, in South Africa, it was easier to see a GP. So I don't really know the doctors, I've only ever seen them for my yearly medicine review. They were very nice.

I am new to the surgery, did an e-consult using their Accurix service. ANP Mandy Abbott dealt with my query and organised a prescription and appropriate signposting, managed to get a GP appt the following week too. Dr Gilani (I think her name was) listened to my concerns and assisted me. Receptionist also helped me organise a blood test and was friendly. Great service all round.
