Here on 11.11.23. Nice breakfast. Well done to the cafe staff who stood to attention in the two minutes silence. Sadly the silence was not respected by the pa system which continued to play music and Morrisons adverts during the two minutes. I expect it was down to human error rather than disrespect.

For weeks now they have been saying they have no vegan sausage on the vegan breakfast, why advertising that they do, think it is about time they change it, saying that they don't do that option false advertising surely

Absolutely appalling service, coffee machine not worked , ordered food waited 20 minutes for help with coffee machine .. assistant couldn't be bothered .. then food arrived it was cold and full of fat.. not like Bulwell branch, no smile or thank you ... looking at previous reviews I'd say give them a miss here ... sutton morrisons is not a good store ... manners are free .. we didn't complain in store as nobody around to assist .. more staff needed ... dirty tables and dirty counters think a visit from food hygiene might be required ...

Waited 50 minutes for cold food, staff didn?t care and wasn?t interested, tables full of used plates, wasn?t even a clean cup for me to have a coffee. Absolute joke, won?t be returning - ever

The cafe always seems understaffed. Tables always dirty and take ages to clear, fridges aren't stocked and staff rude about going into shop or replacing anything, and cutlery is always missing. Food is decent and cheap, but not worth the hassle.

Just awful kind of sums it up. Went a few months ago, and despite poor service/food, and rude staff, gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again this morning. No staff on till despite elderly queuing. Went to order screen. No table number cards to place orders. Had to wander round the cafe to find my own. Ordered breakfast and latte. Grabbed the last cup available for my drink. Paid £1.85 for half a cup of luke warm coffee?? Around 2 out of 3 tables not available as nobody about clearing or cleaning. Large Breakfast came barely warm with three items missing, wandered around again to raise issue and finally found a member of staff, response was (with a grin) "oh they just forgot to put them on" Egg undercooked, cheap fatty bacon. Overheard an old guy across from me then complaining that he'd been waiting half an hour for his meal which apparently they had also forgot (mine was served within 10mins - albeit with missing items). Never again! I have worked in the service industry for many years. Myself and my colleagues take personal pride in the customer experience we provide. Morrisons seem to not care in the slightest. I doubt very much that they read or respond to all the negative feedback on this site, as my assumption is that management share the same disinterest as staff. Save yourself the misery and cost of eating in their cafe. Being your own sandwich and sit on the pavement outside for a more satisfactory dining experience.

We were visitng Kings Mill Hospital next door to this store, and decided as we were early we would drop into Morrisons cafe for a coffee and cake to see us through the afternoon of visiting. We got to the cake counter and found there were no tongs with which to take a piece of cake, and people were using their fingers!! On trying to choose a plate we found that almost all of them were unclean with bits of food stuck on and dirty marks, eventually found a couple of relatively clean plates and chose a cake. We then moved on to pick up a cup for coffee, the majority of these had coffee/tea stains inside, found a couple of clean ones and moved along to the till to pay for the coffee and cakes. We were then told that there was no coffee as both machines were out of order. They had hot water for tea, but no coffee, as I do not take milk and cannot drink tea without milk we were left with cakes. If we hae been informed that there was no coffee on entering the cafe we would have gone over to Costa in the Hospital, but by then we had already picked up the cakes and felt it wrong to put them back after having to use our fingers to get them in the first place. We will not be using Morrisons Cafe at any time in the future.

The issue that I have experienced was: my partner and myself came to your store to eat after dropping my father off for his cancer operation at Kings Mill. After we had eaten my partner noticed he had something mangled around his teeth and at the back of his throat, he then started to choke on the rubber like material which physically made him sick and unwell. He suffers with anxiety and Depression and also has BPD plus PTSD. A complaint was made to yourself ( dean boot manager at Mansfield morrisons) and we sent you a screenshot of what came out, you told my partner you would get back to him as he provided you with his mobile yet we haven't had not one single call yet this happened a week ago today. My partner has since called store to get hold of you to be told off one of your colleagues that because we don't have an reciept then they can't do anything, when infact the machine you order food from stated that it was out of order and not giving out reciepts, we will not be penalised for your broken machines, I want this sorting or I'm going ombudsman!! And I also have my bank statement that proves we ate there. It occurred on: 2023-01-31 This meant that My partner had a full blown anxiety attack and was physically sick, it ruined our whole day all the rubber was mangled around my partners back teeth. So morrisons got back to us with a £10 good will gesture yeah rite our food was over £12 a good will gesture to me is where you get back more than you exceeded. So I've had to go trading standards with my complaint as morrisons are now ignoring me. By the looks of all the reviews on here the cafe seriously needs looking at, used to be lovely years ago gone write downhill.

Fairly quiet with about twelve customers at around 4.30pm on Fri 03/02/22. Dining companion's meal better than mine but their's not the best ever. Mine was barely warm, latte the same. People pay good money for what they expect to be a warming meal, especially important when at the moment they may not be too warm at home. We all know that, at home, during the process of removing from oven or hob, plating up and actually sitting down to eat, food becomes, at times, less hot than we would like. When will restaurants and cafés realise their obligations in ensuring that food/drinks which have been paid for by a customer - must be served hot if applicable. If this is something which cannot be accomplished, then they should advertise as serving only cold food and cold drinks.

Sadly this cafe's standards have fallen since previous visits. The computer ordering desk failed. The manually operated till accepted an order for soup only to be rejected by the kitchen staff. The teapots were a deep shade of rust. The coffee machine gave out the wrong coffee No spoons available. At least two of the table number stands were broken (but left on the tables serving no purpose. The couple on an adjoining table left some 80% of their Xmas lunch uneaten. We did not enjoy our snack or coffee. The Cafe has, sadly failed to achieve its previously acceptable standards.

Will not visit again for a meal. Who wants to be ordering everything via computer screen and then to be told 'will have to change, run out of that meal. Cancelled meal, time wasted. Went elsewhere for better choice and service.

We?ve eaten here before. There are occasionally issues waiting for someone to come to the till to take and place orders. I think the management probably hope people will order remotely and pay via the app, but this isn?t for everyone. The table system has changed since our last visit. Previously we had to find a table and give the table number when ordering at the till. Today at the till we were given a number to take to the table and display. The café was nowhere near as busy today as we have seen it before. There were no mugs available for hot drinks and we had to wait while these came out of the dishwasher. We?ve had this before here. If they had more mugs they could have some in the washer and some available at the same time. There are two coffee machines and both were out of action. So there was only tea available as a hot drink. We wanted coffee. We ordered fish and chips, one regular and one small. We were told that there were no garden peas available and we agreed to have mushy peas. Why the staff can?t acquire garden peas from the store (tinned or frozen) I don?t know. All in all not as good an experience today as we?ve come to expect here. Staff were friendly enough and apologetic but still the café should be able to do better.
