Lovely place, friendly staff, beautiful views of Southwell Minster. We visited for afternoon tea which was served quickly and tasted lovely. Recommend a visit if you are in Southwell

I decided to go here and have lunch with my daughter and found
The food was very over priced
They charge more for oak milk
There portions sizes are very small for what they charge
The burger tasted horrible
And it didn?t seem a very friendly atmosphere to have lunch. Definitely won?t be going back

States vegan options but all I was offered was two vegetarian dishes with the dairy removed.
If you?re going to advertise that you offer vegan options then do that. Don?t just remove the protein from other dishes.
It?s lazy and thoughtless. Vegan isn?t hard to do these days. Either do vegan or don?t do it. But don?t say you do and then offer something with no thought or consideration then expect me to pay full price for it.

Called in for a cuppa and a snack while visiting the minster, The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had a latte and a scone which was warm and absolutely delicious, my son had some fries and my wife had a slice of red velvet cake which she said was yummy, overall a great place to stop off for either a meal or just simply a cuppa, would recommend to all to pop in and enjoy what is on offer.

Had THE most awful experience today- I usually enjoy this cafe as the location is perfect for when I go to visit the minster however I feel so let down by today?s events. Please have words with the waitress working today maybe in her early 50s, dirty blonde, pony tail and wearing a navy sweatshirt. She has the most disgusting attitude. Whilst waiting for my friend she spoke harshly to me I suppose she was thinking I was waiting for her to seat me however it wasn?t the case, after frequent glares from her we did get seated only to be told by her at 11:30 that we are no longer allowed to order from the breakfast menu that is supposed to finish at 11:45. We were informed by her that we could not order food now until 12pm. We were fine with that and enjoyed our coffees despite her hostile attitude and at 12 when we could order she walked straight past us knowing we were waiting and deliberately served a couple who came in a long time after us. It?s a shame that waitress served us today because her bad attitude does not do justice for a coffee shop with such potential.

went for a nice little walk round the minster with my partner and was refused food from the kids menu. had to pay double the price for something that i didn't really want...
otherwise, food and service was okay!

Popped in for a look around and a cup of coffee. The coffee was lovely. The ladies who were serving me and whom I was chatting to was lovely and pleasant to talk to.
Although I had no food, it looked and smelt, so no nice. I'm definitely going in to try it soon.

Popped in today and can definitely recommend! Staff were friendly and efficient and there was a great choice on the menu.

we visited this week and had a great experience! we had a warm welcome and were well looked after by all the staff who, despite being rushed off their feet, took the time to make sure each customer was served quickly and got exactly what they asked for. lively little cafe with great food, great atmosphere and great service. we will definitely be back!

Can?t fault the food, it really was very lovely. Quite expensive, but good food. It has no atmosphere really, not a very welcoming place and it?s in an incredible location. Even the shop is quite underwhelming.
The service from the lady who ?welcomes ? you is very unfriendly. She?s not wearing a black top, like the rest, so must be in charge. We were friendly and polite, however made to feel like an inconvenience- just by our existence. Odd.
Everyone else really friendly. It?s also quite expensive!
