We are so lucky we have moved into the village and found the best Pub/ restaurant in the whole of Nottinghamshire but keep it quite because I don?t want it to get too busy ? worth a visit you won?t be disappointed 5 star all round.

Tastiest Sunday roast ever. And I've had a lot. Pub is elevated without being pretentious, attentive staff, great wine and lovely surroundings.

The menu changes based on the day of the week, so check out the theme of your night on the website. This traditional pub is really cosy and elegant. We tried tapas night, where they proposed a fusion of Italian, Spanish, and Korean cuisine. Above all, the meat was delicious, especially the picanha and the Korean-style BBQ pork. I will definitely come back to try their Sunday roasts.

Fabulous experience early evening today for a quick stop for some good quality food. Superb portion size and tasty; Fish & Chips that did not disappoint - with a selection of peas, tartar and curry sauce same goes for the ham, egg and chips. Evie took really good care of us from arrival to leaving, she was really efficient, friendly and made us feel very welcome - thank you Evie!
It?s one of our fav places to eat locally when we get chance to eat out - see you again soon!

After visiting fairly regularly I?ve found the food to be great. Consistent in quality. Beautiful pub in a lovely village. But it?s let down by the landladies poor attitude. On my last visits we were made to feel like an inconvenience and she was what I can only describe as ignorant and rood. The three other people with me were quite shocked as how hostile she was. She comes across very angry, even her staff looked confused and uncomfortable! This isn?t the first time this has happened. But you give people the benefit of doubt as we can all have bad days. Seems it?s not just a bad day but a bad attitude! What a shame. So if you?re happy to be made to feel like an inconvenience, be spoken to like crap when she?s not ignoring you, but want great food then this is the pub for you. What a shame.
