Had the Sunday roast and a pint. It was a solid meal, great service, good atmosphere and competent staff. The local beer was decent too. No complaints at all. Recommended.

We called in for a drink on Thursday night and the lady behind the bar was so nice and worked really hard, so we booked a table for the evening after. We had an amazing meal, everything so hot and tasty. The only trouble was it went really noisy with blokes at the bar and it spoilt our experience, some ladies on the next table left due to this as well, such a shame.

Lousy prawn cocktail
Scampi was ok but meager portion
Chips were tasteless
All in all we did not enjoy our meals and will never return.
Cannot understand The good reviews received by others. Are we talking about the same pub?

I can certainly recommend this establishment. The steak fajitas are perfect. The ales are top-notch also. Great outdoor seating for alfresco. Gets good sun in the evening. Hats off to all the staff. Wonderful.

We had Sunday roast lunch for a group of 14, lucky enough to have one long table out in the back barn. Brilliant meal, really yummy roast, the vegetarians loved the nut roast! Highly recommend

Good food for what I had and tried. Good selection of ales that were well kept. Does have a car park if that's needed.

Lovely meal, tasty beer, friendly service and dog friendly. More veggie options than most places if that's your thing although the meat pie was great! Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutes gem fine establishment. Beautiful inside and out with a fine range of beer wines and spirits. Two top range beers cost 10.50, which is excellent in the surroundings. The inside is lovely. i didn't have food, but what I saw looked excellent. The outdoor space was large, very clean, children friendly, and pet friendly. The staff was great very friendly and the landlord was very nice and easy to chat with. I really recommend this. Pub it in a great location and a gem. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Great music was playing, too, and wasn't too loud 10 out 10 for me

My mother went there today with her friend both elderly ladies, chose the lasagna each, both could not eat due to it being awful and tasteless, returned the food to be totally left sitting there with no one acknowledging them at all, after about 30mins after being ignored they went to pay, and again they mentioned the food not being nice and the man just shrugged his shoulders and that was that , so not a good experience for them at all, disgusting to say the least
