I only use the gym, but all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. As with all gyms, there are some characters and ego's but most are very friendly. Again as with all gyms it can get busy at peak times, but careful planning will get you on all machines. Very rarely are machines out of action and there's plenty of them. My biggest gripe is wifi..when busy I can't get on the WiFi and thus not logging on to the MySpace app. Phone signal is also very poor in the gym.

Recently joined up and currently swimming around 3 times per week. Facilities are clean and pool well maintained. Only one small criticism is I go with my partner who is disabled and he can't stand for long. There isn't always a disabled changing room available and we either have to wait or he has to go into the male area alone. Just worry in case he stumbles and falls on his own. However, his physio suggested swimming and he is now getting some exercise and is doing a lot better so the pros outweigh the small criticism

There should be a membership just for Gym, Sauna and steamroom for bodybuilders... i dont want to pay £40 a month for irrelevant classes i dont need..

Only recently started going to the pool and I had some trepidation however everyone has made me feel welcome and helped me with my fitness journey. Jane is a godsend and is putting me on the right track to get healthier and fitter. I cannot thank her enough for getting me back out there. The pool is always well maintained, staff are helpful and will chat and answer any queries you may have. The gym is modern and the equipment is very techie but I have cracked it, not bad for an old girl lol. I do not feel that anyone is judging me and how I look, it is the complete opposite. I recommend this leisure centre to anyone who is thinking of starting their journey toward better health and just going to the pool is a good first step. Also, the latte after my swim is the icing on the cake.

Been coming here for around 13 years and it?s a great place for kids to learn how to swim and the gym facilities were also upgraded a couple years back too.
I would recommend to come here for swimming and the gym as they also have amenities that other gyms don?t have such as a sauna.

Lessons are always cancelled and they refuse to refund for the services they are unable to provide.
When there is a lesson on the changing rooms are filthy.
I have sent scores of emails trying to get this sorted but receive no response or acknowledgement.

If I was to rate this place on the staff alone it would be 5*....the gym is well ran and a friendly atmosphere... the laned swimming is a free for all ..I was lucky in that I had a friend who told me the etiquette of laned swimming which was fortunate because Once your past the door no one gives a chuff...I guess it's typical of laned swimming I did try to ask about the numbers allowed in once but it was obviously falling on deaf ears I mean I'm just a regular paying customer once they have my money I suppose I lose the right to raise a concern
