Never been here but i wouldn?t really want to if i?m being completely honest. Who i believe to be the main man/manager is rude, disrespectful and discriminative to people he has never met before. In 2025 i expect more inclusivity as it?s common sense but i was met with nothing but stares, aggressive looks/behavior, discrimination towards me and the people with me to the point where i would not feel safe walking into the business for a simple meal. The behaviour i was met with as a very young person was OUTRAGEOUS and i thought it was better off to write a review so i could help other people avoid this bigoted and derogatory behaviour. Luckily the situation was resolved but i am still disgusted that a manager/landlord etc of a pub thinks its okay to act this way, this has completely changed my views on the sherwood pub and i will definitely not recommend nor will i ever be visiting as i feel it would be an unsafe environment.

Had a great lunch with local U3A friends. The service from the staff was spot on. Good variety on menu to choose from at fair prices. Well cooked and presented. Atmosphere and decoration made it a good place to visit. Recommend.

Had Sunday dinner here today 3 adults and 1 child. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Great value for money. We have tried a few places of late for Sunday dinners, and the Sherwood Inn surpasses them all for taste and quality ?
