Set in Hollybeck Garden Centre. Had a big pot of tea for two with extra water and a ginger shortcake which was delicious!
Looking at the other tables the food looked delicious!
Noted on the menu they have pancakes with cherry compote, will definitely be going back to try those!

I recently visited with some friends who are elderly.
Noticed that they now have a waiting list and a buzzer service.
We was all made to wait outside for over 20 minutes for a table.
Told to go round the garden center to see if there is anything we would like to buy.
Yet there was lots of empty tables and people coming back empty handed after walking round garden center.
The point of the matter is if we wanted to buy something we would of.
Not being tricked or forced into buying things.
It's very clear to see that the garden center sales are down as now they are forcing people into buying.
We will not be calling back till this buzzer episode is removed.
So now not only have they lost sales in coffee shop also in garden center....
There are better places in the local area....

Dropped in for coffee and cake. As it was busy a staff member took my name and gave us a buzzer. As we were browsing in the garden centre shop she buzzed us and we returned to find a table reserved and waiting. The staff are very friendly, the food and service is tops.

Just had a regular breakfast. 9.99 single or two people £16 good value if there are two of you.
Nice sausage and mushrooms, nice granary bread. Everything else ok. However was spoilt by the egg being so unnecessarily overcooked with hard yoke and sellotape bottom it spoilt my experience...
And why rock hard frozen packets of butter so you cant spread it on the toast?
So my honest feedback. Please look at things from a customer experience perspective and not speed of cooking and ease of serving.
I've been in the past and it was much better. Don't think I'll rush back.

Food delicious but rather pricey. Staff friendly enough but a little brash. It was nice that even though they were busy we did not feel at all rushed. Very clean.

Always a pleasure to visit. We went on a Sunday without booking. There were 8 of us and they accommodated us with no problem. We have been here many times and it never disappoints us.

Had the two breakfasts for £15 special. Seriously one of the best full English's we've had, quality produce cooked to perfection and served by brilliant staff....the chef knows how to cook and when your produce is this good it just makes for the perfect experience. Thank you all, a really good place to visit and the garden centre is lovely too!
