Went to open the door at 11.29, they open at 11.39, a worker looked at me and walked off, no acknowledgment, no ?one minute? these new owners are rude and have no customer service skills. We?ve put up with for many months, no more.

Sorry but our fish and chips were very poor. Fish batter was soggy, chips were limp. The fish in the warming section looked ok, but was taken by the customer in front of me. So I think they rushed cooking our fish, real shame as we won?t be going again.

A convenient fish and chip shop next door to a Costa. The fish and chips are freshly cooked while you wait and delicious. It was nice to sit outside and eat with a nice coffee.

Best fish and chips in Nottinghamshire. This was my review a good few years. Unfortunately I can't say this any more. The batter is like cake thick and gooey. People who work there are nice but the fryer needs to learn how to drain the batter properly before frying . Last visit very disappointing.

Ordered fish chips & mushy peas. Absolutely discusting the fish did not even taste like cod to the point of going back inside & asking them is it cod response yes. Never had a cod taste like that it tasted like a river fish discusting my stomach is making weird noises
The chips were very pale all in all worst fish & chips ever tasted in my life. Would not return. Chucked them in the bin. Save your money & shop elsewhere

Got stuck on a long diversion and came across this place. Wasn't expecting much coming in after 9pm but the fish was fresh, hot and crispy with really good chips. Would definitely recommend!

I?ve been coming here for the last 10 years and my last 4 visits have been very disappointing. Quality of the food has gone downhill since it?s changed hands it?s no longer a traditional fish and chip shop. Chips are undercooked and dry. The fish is very mushy and watery, I won?t be revisiting.

Forgot half my order. Waste of money and time. It wasn't busy, it was a Sunday, out all day, thought I'd pop in and get dinner. Should've just put something together from the cupboards, got a tenner out my wallet and burnt it.

Third time now I have got home with the incorrect order! And guess what, it?s always less than I ordered. And it?s too far for me to go back and correct. Staff don?t even care or say sorry for their mistakes.
Finally learnt my lesson - go elsewhere.
