Tried two new mains today.
John had beef and ale pie with my garlic bread, I had butternut squash, spinach and ricotta lasagne with baked potato. Both meals superb. Then had triple brownie. Yum. Thank you. Washed down with Sauvignon Blanc. Perfect spur of the moment lunch. See you soon.

Been coming here for years and it's always been a good meal. Service great very friendly staff and service fast. Good portions and really good price due to it being my partners birthday so she got a free meal as we are Brewers Fayre members, Ialso got a Blue Light discount. Mixed Grill and Smothered Platter all cooked great. The only down side was we moved table as under the aircon and it was cold, also my partner said all of the female toilets had broken locks.

The place was completely empty on a Friday night. We quickly understood why. They had what they called an equipment failure and no gas available for drinks. It was more likely they messed up their gas order. I asked for a diet coke and the barman pointed at 2 opened supermarket bottles of 2l behind the counter. As I did not want a completely flat drink I ask for an alternative and the barman just looked at me. When our food arrive it was awfull, the homemade coleslaw was so dried it looked like it was made a week ago and my chicken breastfeeding had no taste whatsoever. When you pass this place run as fats as you can in the opposite direction.
