After recent issues at Selston chemist and a lot of negative reviews I can happily say I've just received the most caring and professional treatment.
Well done to the new pharmacist and his team for turning things around.

At long last the queues aren't 30 mins long but it's nothing like as good as it used to be.
I don't blame the staff as they are always busy. Maybe if Well tried to understand this is a village pharmacy that needs more people in order to thrive then posts would be more positive.

I?ve recently decided to change chemist.
Before the building got crashed into the chemist was ok, the staff were friendly, quick enough (for a chemist) and I received texts regular for both me and my son when our prescriptions were ready, when they went into the porta cabin, things were still of the same standard, given they had a smaller space but they still did a good job and tried to get people seen as soon as they could, although queuing times towards the end did start to creep in, so it did start to become frustrating, I think I tried at least 4 times over the span of a week to collect my prescription but when you have kids and a school run you cant keep queuing for that amount of time each time. Since going back into the building the ques have been crazy long and waiting times have increased dramatically. There has been a quick turn over in different staff twice since moving back into the building and it seems the original staff have left. I no longer receive texts when my prescriptions are ready and even after waiting over the allotted time for a repeat prescription the prescription still isn?t made up and ready for collection. Normally it had been on the shelf ready to pick up but now it?s like they only make it up when you go into the building so even more waiting is needed, they are saying to people that the prescriptions aren?t coming through in their system and batting it back to the doctors. So I really don?t know why it?s all of a sudden gone down hill. I?m guessing they also don?t answer the phone because there are too many people queuing. I have now instructed all my prescriptions to go to Jacksdale so I?m going to try my luck there instead.
Please can someone check on the business its such a shame to see it go downhill

Booked for covid jab we turned up at the chemist for our jabs on time today and was told no vaccine had arrived. There was no notification telling us not to turn up no warning at all now we have to re book not going to book with this chemist.

Worst chemist I've ever come across since taking over in Selston
Absolutely apaling service
Repat prescription never on time don't message when prescription is available to pick up.
Slow service at counter don't appear to see to job in hand .
Useless at responding to phone calls never answer ?
Staff appear of having no knowledge when asked any advice
Absolutely terrible ?
Lots of people have changed chemist from Selston as its so poor !!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. More than an hour queuing up to get your prescription and from what I've seen it appears to be the norm. The elderly, the poorly, all expected to stand out in the rain for much too long... Your best hope of advancing the queue is that those in front of you give in.
At the very least, you should implement a means of identifying those whose prescription is ready for collection, this would improve response times and reduce queueing.

Abominable, no staff courtesy or consideration, totally ignored, kept waiting for half an hour for one simple item on prescription. What hapened to the friendly staff previously??

As directed by my GP, I took my son for Impetigo, to buy an over the counter treatment. The pharmacist didn't even offer to look at the infected area and told me there was nothing he could do for us. Found him dismissive and rude.

Avoid! 2 hours wait to be told that they haven?t even ordered the medication after a two day wait.
People sat outside on camping chairs, elderly people feeling awful standing outside. Over 20x people queuing to get served with only 2 chairs available. Awful experience, would avoid at all costs.

Really gone down hill
My prescriptions are sent here but I MUST get that changed. The place is shambolic , slow , disorganised, poorly staffed , badly staffed ? if there was an option to give it 0 stars I would !

This chemist has gone downhill rapidly. Some of the staff?s customer service levels are questionable. They don?t deal with repeat prescriptions in time nor do they answer the phone.
