Mel the director of sales did an amazing job talking me through the booking process on the phone.When I arrived I was met with a smile and made to feel welcome.In the evening we headed to the bar and enjoyed some drinks and food with great customer service.Great job village hotel Nottingham!

I needed a place to stay for the night, and this place was definitely the right choice for me. It had everything I could need. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was absolutely amazing. I didn't want to leave, I will happily come back again.Nearby activities: Attenborough nature reserve is only a 5 minute walk from the front door, so a brilliant way to pass some time.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant downstairs in the main area with a good choice of food. There is also a Starbucks at the front door and a McDonald's across the road.

Went for a tribute night..staff not organised at all by giving meals out. There was no brandy..i was told the party the night before had drank it and champagne..they had spent £7500. I said i should have been there that night. Rooms clean and tidy. Wasn't very impressed by the whole night.

Stayed the one night. Very large hotel with reasonably priced rooms. Rooms are large with an on-suite bathroom. Large bed, TV, dressing table, cupboard, tea and coffee facilities. Downstairs is a sports bar, Starbucks and reception. Gym and restaurant on lower ground.Décor remains just the right side of being tired and some of the rooms are a long trek from the reception. We had to use 2 Elevators and a set of stairs to get to ours. The only annoying thing was the check-in. It's an automated system overseen by one member of staff. If you are not familiar with the system it's slow and frustrating. 2 members of staff should be the minimum.Access for the mobility impaired or those confined to a wheel chair is adequate. However, remember to ask for a room to the front of the hotel, otherwise it will be a long awkward walk.Overall a good hotel, friendly staff and ok food. Would recommend.

Village hotel in nottingham is no doubt a nice place to stay, but they have really messed my weekend up.They advertise all these flash sales, then when you book they keep the money pending in your account, so the bank has authorised the payment but village don't take it leading to a non reservation. I called the village today, and they blamed the system crashing upon booking, and then offered me a refund and then a room at a more expensive rate, what an absolute joke and what a mess this has caused my weekend to be.Staff could have done more an honoured the sale price as it is still within the sale time offer.

Stayed here a few times, stayed last week, really lovely greeting on arrival by Amy (I think). We were also carrying a lot of luggage, so took the lift and a kind gentleman with glasses helped with all our bags all the way to our room, I think he was part of the Housekeeping team. The room was spotless!! Not a bit of dust in site. This sort of service deserved five stars!! Breakfast was amazing and couldn?t fault the service at the Starbucks counter!! I always stay here when in the area it?s the best place and affordable!! Don?t go elsewhere!!Rooms: Really clean and friendly staff!!

We stayed here last week, the room was spotless!!The food was lovely and reasonably priced!Service was excellent throughout the hotel, especially Sarah in housekeeping, she went above and beyond to help us find our room when we looked a little lost in the corridors, she was very friendly and helpful, Thank you Sarah you are an asset to the Village team! Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we would stay again :)Rooms: Clean and tidy!

I strongly recommend that the manager take the time to read and understand their own refund policies. Attempting to discuss the matter with the manager only added to my frustration as message were passed to me through a member of staff. Their dismissive attitude and apparent lack of interest in addressing my concerns showcased a level of unprofessionalism that is unacceptable.Despite the initial decline, I'm pleased to inform you that I have successfully managed to obtain the refund. :)

Love the service that is given at fitness suite. There are a few instructors that go far and beyond that I have been to Aldemar, Kam, Fesa, and Lucy big up to you guys.

I popped into the village hotel on Sunday and noticed they had Sunday roasts on the menu. It was really nice, came with all the trimmings and even extra roasties and a jug of gravy. You get a really good portions size here guys, I was nearly full just with the main. I then spotted the crumble which i demolished. Really good service with a smile couldn't do enough for you, I will definitely be returning.
