A very pleasant stay. A little noisy with doors slamming during the night and lots of sirens but we knew this was a possibility so not the hotels fault. The staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful.Rooms: We were top floor (9th floor) but the room was pleasantly big and well equipped.Food & drinks: Lovely breakfast in the morning. We didn't book when booking the room but was still able to pay the next morning.

Well where do I start, the first room I was given the floor was soaking wet, so I was then moved to a room on the 1st floor.Beware that all rooms on the first floor have saniflo units & pumps fitted to toilets/sinks etc so every time you flush the toilet or empty the sink, you will have a loud grinding noise! The room was freezing despite having two heaters & neither would go above 21, the keycard had to be recoded every day & I was told it was my fault for having my phone too close to it, which I didn't.Then to top it off I was woken up at 5.30am by some bloke jet washing the street, in the rain! His generator was right under my window, but it sounded like it was in the room.Needless to say I banged on the window & suggested a place for him to put his nozzle!

Stayed for 4 nights. The location is very central and close to the castle and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and available from 0700am. Bed was fine and comfortable. Easy to reach the rail station, library and the museums. Enjoyed the visit and would go again.

If you love drama you?ll LOVE this Travelodge! GREAT place to get lots of exercise too. I made a reservation for the Nottingham central travelogue. I called on the day to say I will be checking in after 11pm due to work commitments. I was told that's fine. I arrived 23:20 and rang the bell. It took three attempts and took 10 minutes to be let in! So I got lots of lovely ?fresh? cold air as I waited. After eventually getting in, I went to reception for my key. It took about 10 minutes. The staff member was very friendly, so no beef with him. But... After getting my key card, I headed upstairs. The key didn't work on the entry doors so I went to have it re-programmed. I headed back up and the key worked. But I opened the door, and to my shock, the room was occupied and had suitcases and belongings in the room. Thankfully nobody was in there, making love. So AGAIN I headed downstairs to get another key for another room. I couldn't find the staff for half hour. When I saw him, I explained what just happened. He gave me ANOTHER key, but for the 5th floor. The room was a disability room with single beds. I booked a double. But the beds were pushed together, so? Joy! One of the windows didn't close properly, so I had to put up with a breeze and all the noise of drunk people that Nottingham has to offer. So, if you?re up for a crazy adventure, I highly recommend this place

Town centre so very handy for ourstay. Typical Travelodge! Very tired rooms, this seems Typical of their chain. Certainly not as good as Premier Inn!

Usual Travelodge. - 9 floors.Situated right in the city centre on Maid Marion Way.Nottingham Castle only a stones-throw away across the road.Discounted parking at St.James car park opposite (beware of narrow curving entry - kerbs could scrape alloy wheels if you don't take care)
