Really good breakfast but was let down by the toilets a member of staff was told on arrival but was still the same a hour later when we left was told ladies was also the same

I reserved a table on line and requested a window table we got there and the man wanted to shove us on a three table in the corner no window nothing I am disabled and one of my relatives is rather large. So I refused that table the one next we were given right next to the stairs for the toilets and drinks machine..So people were up and down by this machine and then also behind us we had a table of students it looked like they were very noisy and raucous. We had come out mid afternoon three people over 65 to enjoy a carvery meal and we didn't. My booking has totally been ignored weren't offered any other table other than the one we got sat at when I said the first table they had reserved for us was no good at all. I booked early in the day and others were coming in and seemed to be able to go where they wanted, guess they must have been regulars. I was visiting relatives would we go again I don't think so. We also waited a while for anyone to see if we wanted deserts they kept walking past so in the end we had to ask someone who was walking past if we could have some deserts and menu.. Disappointed we used Toby quite often but Colwick you weren't very welcoming or attentive. Also not disabled parking bays?

Carvery veg was dried up , wasn't impressed gone downhill since last time I went and won't be going back, was very disappointed.

I came for breakfast with my partner and child and we paid at the bar as usual I went up and got my food and my child?s at the same time they wasn?t much available at all this was 10.30ami thought it would be restocked . Staff also stood there filling the boxes up with the rest of the food which was out ,my partner went up a few minutes later and no food available and they wasn?t serving anymore either. Staff was rude asking my partner what are you waiting for obviously breakfast she has just paid for minutes before. Staff was very defensive and didn?t want to refund the whole meal and drinks so we could go else were. They tried to not refund my meal as I had a few things but I wanted to go back up as as your allowed. Reported to head office . Also I am physical and mentally disabled and come to toby carvery regularly which will properly change my mind to not return to toby carvery again

Staff were lovely, however the carvery was really bad quality. The yorkshire?s were rock hard, couldn?t even cut through. Veg was overcooked, mac n cheese was dry and the meat was really fatty. Stuffing was also dry and hard. Wouldn?t be visiting again. Roast potatoes and parsnips were really good.

This must be a record for the quickest service ever. From sitting down to paying the bill only took 40 minutes
We was even told the table was required for the next people before we had finished our drinks
The food wasn't much better either.But for the price paid I didn't expect much quality anyway
We definitely will not visit this establishment again

I booked a mothers day table months ago for my disabled mother and my family of 5. We unfortunately arrived 3 minutes late over the 10 minute grace period due to roadworks in Nottingham (our table was booked for 10 past 1) and the waitress gave our table away, and did not make an effort to book us another table. I am extremely disappointed as she was quite rude and I won't be returning any time soon because of this ridiculous incident.

I would have given 5 stars but being a vegetarian, the options I and my daughter chose were not good. They tasted vile and were sweet (yuk) but we enjoyed the Sunday roast vegetables, cauliflower cheese and macaroni cheese. The young lady serving us drinks at the bar was awesome as was Adele our server. She explained how things worked and was very patient with us.
Definitely will come again but will leave out the vegetarian options. There was so much food, we couldn't eat it all!

We went on a midweek evening for a roast. The food was tasty but bits of the beef weren?t too tender. The service, provided by Molly, was excellent; she was bright and engaging throughout. I wouldn?t hesitate to return.

Tasty food, good value and friendly staff but I seem to have left more stressed than when I arrived. The already bustling restaurant is made busier by a constant stream of Uber Eats / deliveroo drivers. We queued for the carvery but dishes were whipped away to be replaced by fresh dishes but the wait in between seemed an eternity when standing with half a dinner on the plate. Ran out of cutlery so another wait. Wrong drink delivered to the table, another wait, and then pigs in blanket delivered to the wrong table, another wait. All were sorted relatively quickly but it all added up to quite a stressful experience.

Adele was fantastic as a server and really helped what was overall a negative experience. Despite being horrendously busy, Adele was extremely attentive and friendly and had a smile on her face the whole time.

Terrible breakfast - egg shell in egg, stringy sausages, dry hash browns, only 4 hot dishes at a time so couldn't make a full breakfast. Dirty plates and cups. Horrible experience.
