I was disappointed with the staff at this store.
I found a bag on clearance and quickly checked online, only to see it priced over £20 cheaper. I asked the till staff if this was the final price. The lady serving said that ?online is usually cheaper? (which is not true in my experience, as I regularly shop in another branch and compare prices). Then, another staff member interrupted, rolled her eyes, and said, ?We don?t offer price matching,? which wasn?t what I was asking for.
This was for a bag priced over £100, and the staff seemed completely uninterested in making the sale.

Good selection of clothes but value does vary

A smaller TK Maxx than I'm used to but still had a large selection of amazing goods. I was looking for a particular item and the member of staff I asked was super friendly and helpful. Picked up a few blankets, great value as always.

woman came up to me and my friend and acussed us extremely rudely of getting something on the floor and told us to leave the premises while shouting at us and being agressive when we didnt do it and didnt listen to what we had to say and kept cutting us off. horrible never EVER coming back. edit- we called tk max and now we understand that the store doesnt want children in the store without a adult but the person had no right to be horrible to a CHILD.

One girl at the till is not nice at all! She asked if I am buying the book my baby is reading, which I then said: ?no, sorry, I just gave to him to play with (as it?s like a hard book with lots of animal pictures) while I shop as it calms him down, and I will put it back when I leave the store?, she then didn?t look very happy so I asked if she wants the book, she said yes, I had to take it away from my baby right then and he was really upset about it and cried throughout the time I was at the till! Zero sympathy and zero care about customers, put on the very miserable face while my baby cried and reached over the counter for the book. Acted like a police as if I am going to to steal the book or something, I spend thousands of pounds in tkmaxx every year and always had great service from staff in all the stores I visited, this is by far the worst!!

Unethical and Fraudulent Charge ? Beware of Shopping Here!
I recently discovered a serious issue with my receipt from TK Maxx. It included items that I never purchased and were not in my shopping bag. This means TK Maxx charged my card for products I never bought, essentially taking my money through deception. I have heard of similar incidents happening to others, but I never imagined I would experience it myself.
When I visited the store to report this and request a refund, they refused, simply stating that the return period had passed. This excuse might be valid if I were returning an item I had actually purchased, but in this case, I never bought these items in the first place. Refusing to refund money for falsely charged items is not only unethical but also potentially illegal.
I strongly urge other customers to carefully check their receipts before leaving the store. This kind of dishonest practice should not be ignored, and I plan to report this matter to consumer protection agencies.

Lovely store yet the buzzer beeped for us on the way out. We showed our receipts to security who treated us like pure and utter filth, as if we were criminals. She forced us to put every item we had bought back through the scanner individually, and when we found the item, she claimed it was our fault it beeped even though staff hadn?t removed the security sticker. Total lack of respect and completely ruined our trip out.
