We went to the store today and purchased some chocolates. They were upstairs and had a discount on them. We bought some chocolates and teas from the discount aisle.
Anyway, we came downstairs to pay. When we got to the till, the TK Maxx staff lady who served us acted strangely about the chocolates, which were marked as £5. Then she spoke into her headset. She scanned the other items, looked at the teas, and seemed shocked.
It made us feel uncomfortable, like she thought we had put the items on the discount shelf ourselves. The staff member made us feel really uneasy.
After the purchase, she ran upstairs. I?ve never experienced anything like that before. Keep your lovely chocolates to yourself?you have no right to make me or my family feel upset like that. We won?t be coming back.

Today I was shocked and disgusted with attitude of manager. We did some shopping and went to pay to the till. We wanted to pay cash and had Scottish note to pay. Cashier asked the manager to check the notes which was fair enough. However, we were asked by manager why we had Scottish note!
They are legal tender in the UK! She went through them and told us some of the notes they didn?t look good as security strip isn?t going all the way down which was laughable. Do you have a pen to check it? Yes but it doesn?t work on this notes
Anyway she made us to pay by credit card which we weren?t happy to do it. Manager was a nervous person and doesn?t know how to deal with cash and it is retailer duty to check notes and not to refuse them. It works same with English note but it would have been treated differently for sure.

my favourite shopping store

It?s a good store overall. Two floors and free parking ?? doesn?t always have the best stock however, especially for the more premium items. Lots of out of fashion and seasonal left overs, feels like thrifting to try and find anything good.
