It's OK. Not one of the better wetherspoons apart from the exceptionally clean toilets being on the same level not three stories upstairs. Main entrance is accessible passed outside seating area. Unfortunately one area is for smoker's which is less than the compulsory distance advised by Health and Safety. On.the front of the pub, there are sliding doors which, in summer, is nice. The only down side again is the horrible smell of cigarettes not only through the sliding doors but also the main door. There is a distinct lack of staff at all times. Service is exceptionally slow and dusfuctional. Staff serve at complete random with no semblance of order. This can lead to bad feelings and confrontation. When bar is busy, staff are seen to be talking to each other, ignoring customers, serving online order's to people who have just arrived. Out of all the spoons I have frequented, this is the worst for Service. Tables are often left for ages with used plates, mugs, glasses and food. Another Health & Safety issue. The language by some customer's is disgusting, no one of authority challenges this. Some seating definitely needs replacing. I good go on, but the best person to sort out this establishment is Tim himself.

Great location to meet up with friends for a drink & catch up without having to pay over the top for your food & drink. I don't usually eat when I go in, but it's normal Spoons prices so you can't grumble ? ?? ??

Ordered food pulled pork burger with beef patty came with choice beef or chicken then when can out with was chicken not
beef so had send it back too while to be brough back out to us I had finished my food by the time I came back out to us . went to order chicken tikka curry the had ran out so I got katus curry instead decent portion. Drink was fine table was sticky tho .

This is the a great pub for both food and drink. However l am disabled l need to use the disabled facilities. The only problem with this is that the lighting is very dim. We have mentioned this to a duty manager but the problem has still not been rectified

My husband and I came 30th August after a hectic week at work, ordered steak, chips and salad. The salad was missing, so went up to the young assistant who was clearly new. Her reply was 'my bad' but proceeded to put it though the till, and said 'that will be £2.29! My reply 'how are you asking me to pay for your incompetence, she then fumbled around to ask another young incompetent person who reiterated exactly what she'd said. I wasn't prepared to answer anymore....furthermore we will vote with our feet and never return. Weatherspoons you've definitely earned that title. Your cheap for a reason. Disgusting and to add further you can't cook a steak to the standard the customer asked for!, Vile place. We will stick to our favourite place in future and it ain't here.
