Firstly i don't normally leave bad reviews i like to promote independents but after today i felt i had no choice.
Arrived just after 11.40am as a new customer from the village market. we enquired about the food menu to to be abruptly told that they didn't serve food for another 17 mins, not a problem, we had a drink , checked the menu out its a nice day no drama, still sat waiting 25 mins later. we went to the bar to just pay for our drinks and leave as the waitress continued to stand at the bar and ignore us, (there was us and 1 other table of 2 in) at that point we were told we can't order food as we are waiting for people to come from the market? surely some customer service and tell customers what is happening, if there's a delay no problem but to leave customers guessing isn't on. And during this time they rudely told a wheelchair bound customer that they don't have accessible toilet and they must go elsewhere and then complained about the customers the minute they left. really not a good advert for a pub or restaurant in the current financial climate.

We meet friends here yearly as it?s halfway between where we all live. The Sunday roasts are such good value and really yummy! Great value for money, we very much recommend

Decent grub, service can be a bit long due to only having one grill. Usually gone for the cheese burger, does the job after a long day.

Make sure you chek food prices menu properly when ordering and when finished ask for itemised food receipt. They don't provide a written bill and are charging extortionery prices ? Staff is not trained Food is semi fresh ( they are using frozen seek kebabs and other items but they say its all fresh) Place is run down.

Gone down hill since it has changed from white horse poor service rude and disrespectful staff terrible hygiene and drivers will try to over charge you !!!!! STAY WELL CLEAR OFF THIS SHOP !!!!!!!!
