Absolutely beautiful place to stop over the room we had (Tiffany) was warm very well presented clean and spacious with a nice large bath to soak away you're cares in.The staff are more than prepared to go above and beyond to help you with anything you might need.This was a very last minute stop over and even though the main building was shutting early due to flooding in the area we was still warmly welcomed by all staff provided with food and drinks and a breakfast the following morning.The golf course is lovely and a little bit of military history there also which is a nice touch.10/10A big thank you to all of the staff.I would definitely go back there and highly recommend a visit.The members there are friendly and pleasant also.

Absolutely terrible had our son's wedding here and the event co-ordinator was useless, rude and extremely unhelpful. Rooms were nicely decorated but filthy . Would not recommend having your wedding day here unless they change some staff to one's that know what there doing. Up side Laura was a great help she needs a promotion!

We attended a wedding last night, the wedding was great and a great venue to host a event! Some of the staff were lovely, kind and helpful. The hotel rooms however have seen better days! The corridor had an awful smell! There was dust on the kettle, remote & headboard also cobwebs off the ceiling! The rim under the wash basin was stained with orange mould! My child?s travel cot provided was stained in afew places! The bedding was clean but there were hairs on the pillows under the pillow cover. Definitely not worth the £130+ we paid for the room: we had high expectations from this hotel and were very disappointed.

Very disappointedOur son recently got married here and I have to say if it hadn't of been for 1 member of staff Laura, the day would have been totally ruined. She went above an beyond to help us but the rest were rude & arrogant. The wedding planner was as good as useless & a lot of the rooms we booked were dirty. I would not recommend any having what should be the best day of their life here. For what this wedding cost we really would have expected better! Very dissatisfied with this hotelRooms: Were dirty, & Smelt damp also the heating was broken

Played at the weekend, championship course, really wet, a struggle in places. The weather has been terrible so it's no surprise but trolleys allowed and very busy. I suspect the course could do with a few days of rest from play. Nice layout but hazards a plenty so tough in difficult conditions. Lovely facilities and great breakfast!

Excellent venue for a golf trip with two good courses, both good quality with very different layouts.Championship course with water on the majority of holes and the easier course (signature), which is slightly shorter and more open.Good value for money with the hotel room's being adequate and the food also good quality and staff excellent.A very nice touch was the course manager who made all of the group very welcome and spent time with us, and I assume others, to ask our views about the course, hotel etc.

We had a great time as a golf society. Two lovely well kept 18 hole courses. We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast. Great package. Rooms very good. Food excellent. Golf just perfect.Rooms: Clean and spacious.Food & drinks: Lovely evening meal and large buffet breakfast.

Came here for a wedding reception. Was a nice place to go. Finger food and buffet were very good. Bar was busy but a decent enough range of drinks.

Didn?t play golf this time (but the course looked in very good condition). The pro shop was very well stocked - including a fair offering for lady golfers (a rarity these days at most pro shops).Used the driving range, which boasted TRACKMAN technology on each bay. Also made what turned out to be a GREAT decision to eat Sunday lunch in their carvery!The service speed was not up to their usual high standards (a fact they repeatedly apologised for - apparently due to a temporary COVID-caused short-staffing issue), but the (short) wait was worth it as the food was plentiful & fabulous. It was so good that, despite filling ourselves to the brim with the main course, we had to sample dessert- we were nor disappointed!!! Even though it is nearly 50 miles from our house, we LOVE this place & WILL BE BACK SOON!!

A nice golf course, a lot of work being done and the fairways could do with some tlc. Greens immaculate, pace of play was ok.Pity the lady captain seemed to have a chip on her shoulder, not exactly welcoming!

Lisa is a credit to your establishment. Looked after my elderly uncle and ensured nothing was to much trouble, calmness when could have easily crumbled.
