I was in need of flooring when I came across The Carpet Stop in Nottingham, opposite Bulwell Riverside. With spacious and adequate parking, clean and welcoming entrance, it is worth a look. What a breath of fresh air! From beginning to end the dreaded purchase was completed easily and quickly, I can?t not be more thankful. The customer service was fantastic, Mij was more than accommodating, happy to explore a range of flooring ideas and options with me and calculated the costs for comparison throughout. I made a purchase of laminate flooring, it was a current deal and reduced to an unbeatable price. Delivery was super quick and seamless. I will definitely be back after Christmas. Thank you to The Carpet Stop!

Would not recommend this shop to anyone. We had our carpets fitted about 1 weeks ago. We visited the shop 3 times and spoke to Midge before our actually fitting. Midge never once mentioned to us that we had to remove our current carpets to have new ones fitted- if this was communicated we would have done so. On fitting day we had to pay extra money for the guy to actually removed our old carpets and do the job. I did this over the phone with Midge where he was extremely rude, did not let me get a word in and argued with me over the phone. He was so unprofessional. About a week prior to fitting day, someone from the company came out to measure and stated we already had underlay under all bedrooms and stairs. This was not the case. The guy that fitted the carpets was very nice and super polite and did an amazing job at fitting, but he had to remove all our doors in the bedrooms as they had no underlay, therefore the doors did not fit. Now we are having to pay extra money to have our doors trimmed. We visited the shop today, Midge was extremely rude, again argued with myself and my partner and claimed that we were lying. I have never met a sales person like Midge who is so rude and argue with the customer. A customer should always feel listened to.

Was there on behalf of the landlord to sort out carpets for the rooms,stairs and landings. Midge was wonderful and point us to durable carpets for tenancy rental purposes. He kept us informed and was very polite and easy to get along. Minor problem with a piece of carpet and was dealt with quickly. Would recommend the service.

My first time going to carpet stop, i was given a warm welcoming and smiles very professional and also knowledgeable in knowing there job. I have had most if my house done and all done well very impressed so far, presented and welcomed by midge who is staff member and had showed nothing but kindness and support thank you!

My experience of The Carpet Stop has been very good all round from the welcome and help from Miij to the fitters who arrived on time and did a fabulous job even recommending a slight amendment to the way the carpet was fitted which has made it look even better. That is going the extra mile. There was a very small blip on communication with the shop but very quickly remedied and I would not mark them down for that because overall I have received excellent service and the product is very good - ditto the price, I could not find better anywhere else. In the past I have bought and had vinyl and carpets fitted from well known stores in Nottingham which turned out to fall far below the standards of the Carpet Stop It made me realise that spending more doesnt necessarily mean you get better service. thank you
