Having ridden hard upon my faithful steed, I sought but a humble prize the noble Meal Deal. Sandwich, crisps, and drink, all for but £3.50, a bounty any rogue would risk a gallows for.
Alas! No sooner had I dismounted and strode into yon Tesco than I was beset by the modern highwayman?s bane ,Security. Tall, watchful, clad in hi-viz, they thwarted my designs ere I could lay hands upon a Chicken & Bacon Triple.
I drew neither pistol nor blade, for the law in these parts favours not the gentleman outlaw. Instead I endured the shame of retreat, escorted past the self-checkouts as honest folk eyed me with pity.
Thus I declare this Tesco most secure, its guardians stout and vigilant. No man, be he Dick Turpin or otherwise, shall abscond with a Meal Deal past the witching hour.

Usually I get good customer service at Tesco, but today I had one of the worst. Staff were not helpful and the shift manager didn?t seem to know what he was doing!

Unacceptable Quality ? Tesco Green Seedless Grapes**
I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase from Tesco Nottingham Station St Express. On June 27th, 2025, I bought a pack of *Tesco Green Seedless Grapes (500g)*, and upon opening them shortly afterward, I discovered that they were visibly rotten and covered in mold (see attached photos and video for reference).
The condition of these grapes was absolutely unacceptable and clearly not suitable for sale. Unfortunately, I consumed a few before noticing the moldy grapes, which led to an upset stomach and left me feeling sick for the rest of the day.
This is not the level of quality or safety I expect from a major retailer like Tesco. Selling visibly spoiled produce not only shows a lack of proper quality control but also poses a serious health risk to customers.
I have attached the receipt, photos, and a video clearly showing the state of the grapes for your reference. I would like a full refund for this product and hope that serious steps are taken to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

Smallest yet busiest Tesco express I know. Not one for the faint of heart. Seen so many arguments over queuing because there is not enough room to queue nor signage to indicate where to queue so it just becomes a free for all.

I genuinely haven?t experienced the level of rudeness in a place like I did in this Tesco. Me and my partner was picking up some bits before our train before a staff member stud and shouted at me to use the pastry tongues (which is fair I should have been using them and is my bad) but then continued to stand directly behind and stare at us for 5 minutes in a small isle. Then when some poor international students squeezed by she barked at them saying how rude they was because she was trying to get past and they should have seen her (to which she clearly wasn?t as she was staring at us) !
Overall it was such a strange and bad experience. I?ve genuinely never experienced anyone be so rude to other people in a shop let alone it being a member of staff !
Understandably it was 7:50am on a Saturday morning but they was really no excuse

the black security guy is discriminating against Asian people. He saw both of us standing there and trying to walk inside the store, he crashed into us from a corner intentionally, that's so mean. My shoulder is still pain now.

I got to the door 22:58 and it was locked so when the security guard came he said they?re closed although i could see people in the shop and i showed him the time saying 22:59. I wasn?t going in for a big shop i wanted one item i would?ve been in and out. However, he took it upon himself to use the last minute i could?ve been shopping to tell me that I can?t buy alcohol. When did i say i wanted to buy alcohol? I don?t like the assumption that the only reason a young person could go to their local tesco is for alcohol. That?s quite ageist if ask me. I was actually buying donuts and then he switched his excuse to ?no the system is down?. How convenient. Personally I don?t care if the system is down you better put it right back on! Don?t advertise as open till 11pm if you?re open till 22:58! If you want to go home early speak to your managers don?t shut early to inconvenience me, the customer that?s paying your wages.

Restocks at 5.30 in the morning for an hour on a Sunday keeping everyone in the area awake. Will never shop here out of principle.

Small Tesco Express shop, located on Station street - opposite the train station. Expectedly, it can get busy at times, due to the location. Convenient to grab any essentials (there is a reasonable selection) if accessing the train station. Open till late everyday.

Went in there on a photography trip and got yelled at by a member of staff for taking a singular picture in the mirror. Very good customer service, especially with two school children.
May I add, we tried to apologise and we got yelled at further.

I did a spot of late night shopping and it was packed with people doing the same. Security was on the door keeping non-shoppers out, making it feel a bit hairy at the entrance. Staff were stacking shelves, so there was a queue at the tills, though the person serving me was kind and personable. Overall, not a bad experience.
