The dip for bread was balsamic and a drop of oil that ran out after a 1/4 of the bread so the rest of bread was dipped in only sour vinegar so I left it.
My mushroom risotto was made with standard cheap white mushrooms so there was no flavour. Italian mushrooms should have been used. It lacked seasoning. I asked for black pepper waitress said they don?t have any?
It was badly cooked and lacked flavour. My wife?s pasta dish had hardly any pancetta and the tomato sauce was watery and tasted acidic. All food was disappointing.
Seems like they were saving money on ingredients. I will definitely not return.

We went to look at the menu and were enticed by the amazing smells coming from inside. The menu is small and changed daily, but with a great choice. This tells me that there is very little to no waste and the produce is fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would 100% come back.

Went to Sexy Mamma Love Spaghetti for dinner with a friend. We had high expectations as the place was recommended to us by numerous people. My friend tried calling all day to book a table but we ended up just walking in due to a lack of response.
The only thing I can really praise is the friendliness of the waiter
We ordered soft drinks which came in pint glasses. I assumed the quantity we were served was either 25 or 33cl. That's fine but then serve it in glasses that are the appropriate size. The glasses looked half empty and it's visually/psychologically not giving a good first impression.
I had the burrata as my starter. It came with a pool of olive oil and some basil leaves, no bread to dip in the oil and no seasoning. The tomatoes were cheap salad tomatoes that were flavourless. For £8 some bread, black pepper and vine tomatoes would be more appropriate.
My friend had the ciabatta and oil/balsamic vinegar. She ran out of oil pretty quickly and asked for a refill. The waiter was accommodating which was appreciated.
I had the pancetta ragu penne... served on a pizza plate. Everyone around me had it served in a pasta bowl. Again, please think about the visual experience you offer to customers. It's okay to charge £15, that's how you price your cooking and it's down to you, but the quantity was ridiculously slim compared to the English standard and the presentation was off. Tastewise it was okay, however the pasta was overcooked and the salt overpowering. I couldn't taste any aromatic spices. My friend's risotto lacked seasoning, was watery and presented on a pizza plate instead of a bowl as well. Again aromatic seasoning like oregano, basil, thyme, garlic was missing.

Didn't really live up to the hype for me ?The pasta had the look and consistency of noodles (yes I am familiar with fresh egg pasta), and the whole place is just a bit grotty rather than rustic. Tables are too small, so you couldn't actually fit your food on them. My partner's tortellini was yum, however. Wouldn't hurry back.

Lovely food but a bit of a confusing process for ordering (you'll need to take a picture of the menu board and drinks menu - on the other side of the board) and drinks were very over priced.

My wife and I had a date meal in the evening. I had Beef tortellini, my wife had the anchovy pasta. The menu was small with a few meals. This meant the food was freshly made and you could taste the freshly made pasta and it tasted lovely. The beef tortellini had a nice filling and nice sauce. The anchovy pasta has a nice fish taste. They even free of charge gave us some bread to mop up the pasta. For desert we had tiramisu and panna cota. The tiramisu was lovely made and tasted really nice with a light alcoholic. The Panna Cota has a nice lemon flavour. Only complaint the lighting was not great in the restaurant. Friendly staff and service was good.

Dined here a couple of weeks ago after hearing the hype around this place. To be honest, was a bit of a disappointment. Starters were good, albeit simple (special shout out to the burrata). Pasta was very mediocre - have had far superior from more low-key restaurants in Nottingham. Also, dishes were extremely overpriced for what they were, especially given most were vegetarian and portions were small.
I will say the Tiramisu was great, however, it had a lot of work to do in order to redeem from the sub-par main. Would encourage these guys to revisit their menu and offer dining options at a competitive price. Look forward to hopefully seeing it improve in the future.
