The staff are alright but 2 Counter services is appalling for a city centre branch. The Line can take Ages sometimes. Needs at least 3 Counter services and a sign pointing to the counter service as a wall is hiding it. Very understaffed unfortunately. Santander only care about profits more than customers! A joke

It is easy to see why the very large number of 1-star reviews. I visited once, hopefully never have to visit again.
I walked in, a large number of staff looking lost. Where are the cashiers? Eventually I found, well hidden at the back. Two positions, only one manned. A customer having problems.
Why not a large sign, Problems, with a large arrow, pointing to a desk?
A queue starts to form, a queue of very angry people, who have better this to do with their lives, than spend time standing in a queue.
I say I will not be long, I just want to put money in, obtain a mini statement. Guy behind he, tells me it's always this bad.
Eventually i am served. Queue getting longer by the minute.
I ask why only one person, when staff milling around doing nothing. Apparently they lack training.
Obviously Santander doesn't care. Even worse, it's to discourage bank use, to close, to force on-line.

Absolutely abysmal service. Having to wait an hour to be seen by a member of staff to be told that I will not be seen today at all. When I asked I am thinking of changing accounts but I have queries I was asked ?are you changing now or you *only* have queries?.

i would rate zero if possible. a different branch told me the exact documentation i needed yet this branch refused to accept it. i have been to santander several times now trying to sort out this issue i don?t have the time to constantly be going in because each time they want something different. this branch in particular didn?t even try to offer an alternative and was extremely condescending.

awful bank, i?ve had so many problems with them!I have been locked out my account for a year now and can?t contact them as they don?t take phone calls anymore, my card is also not working and i can?t contact them as you have to be logged into your account to be able to contact them

Absolute joke. Loads of staff useless and dithering about. When asked say they are not able to help and need to wait for a colleague. So what are you here for then? Decoration?Insane opening times. How are you meant to go to THE ONLY BRANCH anywhere nearby if you actually work. I took an afternoon off work to come here, at my own cost. Waited so long that they closed before I could do what I came for, so will have to come again.
