Book in advance and be prepared to queue for a carvery but that just speaks to how good the food is! Lovely place to eat with the family or with friends as there are seating options to suit all and disabled friendly too. Fair price for good food and drink.

Greeted as soon as I came in, a nice looking building. I used the app to order and the service was fast, and I didn't need to queue for the bar.The meats available here were delicious. They were cooked really well and carved perfectly so they were really tender, but still really tasty.The veg and gravy was nice, and the utensil they have for the condiments is really handy.I was greedy on this occasion as the atmosphere was quite nice and I felt comfy and welcome to stay a bit longer. The desert was really nice, but I decided to take a slice of cake (equivalent to maybe 4 slices of cake) home with me as they advertise a "cake away". I incorrectly ordered the toffee fudge cake as opposed to the chocolate fudge cake, and I was sceptical about its quality, freshness, and taste.This was probably one of the nicest cakes I've ever had. Moist, tasty, and a more than ample serving.The staff on shift were really nice, gave off a warm, helpful vibe and seemed to take pride in their jobs.Really refreshing to see this kind of eatery being done well and I will definitely visit again when in the area.Thanks for a lovely time.

We don't go very often but I always enjoy the carvery ( vegetarian pie option this time) when I go. There's food my food sensory sensitive son will eat and it's good value for money. Staff are always friendly enough too which helps add to the experience. Overall decor is a tad dated/ tired now and toilets although clean were missing paper in the dispensers. But the food especially the carvery is so good that minor niggles can be overlooked especially as it's somewhere I know my son can tolerate and enjoy especially sitting in the booth seats he will only sit there because the lighting level is bright enough for him I think.Vegetarian options: Two vegetarian pie options on the carvery plus whatever options on the main menu gives plenty of choice.Parking: Decent car park and good bus accessibility as we use public transport.Kid-friendliness: Small toddler play zone. Kids menu that's got lots of options.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat access through door should be wide enough for electric wheelchair with some flat level seating zones so should be okay.

Ordered, standard scampi, going back for carvery....looked lovely....I've been back for the carvery a few times now, it is very good, lot's of choice. You pay a little more on a Sunday, but they are still serving carvery weekdays!More recently, breakfast buffet, yum! Don't stock up too much. The eggs are round the corner!Seems like the same staff doing a fab job, more staff needed on the bar.Very approacheable staff & accommodating.Plenty of parking available, also disabled spaces right outfront

Popped in for a quick brunch and wasn?t disappointed! Mrs had the all day breakfast; the eggs were perfectly cooked, hash browns lovely and crispy and the mushrooms were awesome. I had the beer battered fish and was pleasantly surprised by the ultra flakey fish. Coral was also absolutely lovely and accommodating! Definitely recommend for a quick great priced lunch.

Nice place food was good. Good outdoor area. We went for a carvery and there was lots to choose from. Only minor issue was that more attention could be given at the pass as we paid for some extras that my partners daughter didn't get. We didn't get this addressed because she was half way through eating when we realised, so it is just a note for the future. Would definitely go again though.

Many stars for Jo, who was super helpful, and freindly, even though I interrupted what she was doing several times to get assistance. The normally excellent carvery was a bit overdone as I arrived around 4pm, not the best time. I'd normally give it 5 stars. Pretty good place either decent prices (and astonishing selection of ice cream flavours!)Parking: Very good

Waiting 20 minutes just to be served at the bar! , staff everywhere one person serving at the bar ? for goodness sake SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE should be the mantra .just terrible organisation of staff . Cues everywhere. NO BAR STAFF ! No -one in the carvery to serve . Just one staff for a queue of 20 people waiting , very poor service . This is not a one off, been here a few times ALWAYS the same . At the end of the meal went to the bar again , waited 15 minutes in the queue again (1 bar staff taking drinks and food orders ) had had enough .. walked out .

It's hit and miss unfortunately. Ordered deliveroo ages ago and it was the best carvery we've ever had! After raving about it to friends, we finally got a chance to dine in and the food was average, a few things under cooked, a few things were like cardboard. Staff are friendly but the premises need some loving, buckets under leaks etc ? Might go again, third times the charm right?

Been for a visit with my grandma and my daughter. Had a lovely carvery with so much choice and the staff were so kind and friendly. My gran isn?t very mobile so doesn?t go out often and this was a treat and it?s made her day.

Food was actually really nice & came out quick. Service was friendly, didn?t have the carvery due to previous bad experience(s!) at Kings Mill farm, I know it?s a different establishment within the same chain.Anyway had the sweet chilli chicken and halloumi burger. Perfectly acceptable.Friend had the fish and chips and it didn?t look great but he said it tasted better than it looked.Service really friendly, attentive, cheery and genuine from all staff members that we came across.Drinks were expensive (as they are in green kings) but still nice.Puddings are where it?s at and I love the 3 scoops of ice cream of the most amazing flavours / toppings going.Look forward to going back!Vegetarian options: Options availableKid-friendliness: Family friendlyParking: Plenty of spaces

Went last Sunday for a family meal. I had a alcohol free beer that was warm and my steak was over cooked so not great. but the rest of the family had all you can eat carvery and the food look great and tasted great on the carvery lots of parking got a bit of kids area inside but rather could do with getting updated

Have been coming to riverside farm for years and have always enjoyed it. We came for my Nan?s 90th birthday yesterday and I?ve never known such poor customer service! Not a hello, a smile or a please/thank you. A lady slipped over at the carvery station and staff were so unhelpful, she really hurt herself aswel, it was the customers that helped more than anything. Staff don?t talk to you in a polite, customer service friendly manor. You ask for something and they look at you like you?re an inconvenience! Unfortunately we will not be returning and will be finding a new place for our carvery?s ??
